I have been working as a Caregiver over a 8 yeara now and I love it. You get to meet new people all the time. I work my own hours. A lot of time the people I have worked for just wanted companionship with lite cleaning. I choose Saturday to work because this my second job. Enclosure I would love to bring Joy, Peace. And the love of God in your home.

I'm very upbeat with clients. Never do I bring my home/personal problems to work. I love my clients and treat them like they're my family. I always love to help anybody with anything. My clients tend to give me 4/4 stars for what I do for them. I really enjoy learning about them and getting to know them as a person. Every time i try to do something and get it done is a accomplishment that makes my heart happy. I'm also a Navy veteran and owe all my discipline and morals for the job to my time served in the military. I'm familiar with different lifts, using medical supplies and equipment, preventative care and bandaging for wounds/ulcerated bedsores, blood pressure and glucose monitoring. I worked in an emergency room as lab, secretary, and multi skilled tech for 13 years so I have seen a little bit of everything.

I became a caregiver because i love taking care of the elderly and people as a whole. Being able to give quality care at a high level of gratitude and expectation is what motivates me. One of the things I'm most proud of is a time when i walked in on a resident at the nursing facilities where i worked and his countenance just didn't look right so i asked the resident was he ok. He said yes but i just didn't have peace about it,so i called the nurse. To my surprise, he was on the verge of having a stroke due to the fact that i went to check in on him saved his life in time. And for that, I'm forever greatful.

I am the mother and caregiver of a 43 year old son with quadriplegic cerebral palsy so I am very experienced with disabilities and needed equipment. I cared for my mother, who had alzheimer's disease. I have been a church secretary for the last two years. I have been in the health care setting for over twenty years. I learn at an early age from my mother about how important and rewarding it is to take care of the elderly. My mother toke care of her mother and father and aunt and uncle. She brought them in her home and toke care of them. I helped her with them. Then I brought my mother and my father in my home and toke care of them with help of my husband till they pass in 2009. I've worked at three different hospital over twenty years. I am now 56 years old and work as a caregiver. I enjoy my job it is very rewarding work. I was also a foster parent so I enjoy children as well.
