I love being a caregiver I never knew that I would become a caregiver and enjoy doing it ..I love everyone I work , and I get attache to all that I work with and my achievement is becoming a better caregiver and work for a better future.

I am CNA, HHA, Med-Tech, and now a Care Manager. I love helping others that are in need! I had a daycare for 18 years. I was looking for something else in helping others that's why I went back to school to become a CNA and HHA. I'm now in Care Management. I manage medication's, doctors appointments, transportation and oversight of senior care. Which includes case management that includes, family members that live out of state, that I oversee their family members to make sure they are receiving the best care. I love spending time with the elderly. I would not trade my job as a Care Manager/caregiver. I have taken care of many seniors, in the last 17 years and love it so much! It makes me feel so good when I go in to help others that are having a hard time taking care of themselves. And family members needing oversight of their family members in need of care. Vaccinated.

Over the past 3 years, I have been the care giver of my mother. She was first diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in the summer of 2017, and I placed my studies on hold and moved from New York to assist my mom on all her care needs including going to her appointments. This unfortunate event thought me the importance of caring of a person in need. Nearly all her appointments are in Los Angeles, therefore requiring me to drive her to her appointments and translate since her primary language is Spanish. I had to coordinate her appointments. I have learned that caring of a person is conforting when I make them feel that they can count on me and I am there to listen.

I am proud to be a seasoned caregiver. I have been in the medical field for over 25 years. I started in long term care, hospitals, clinics. My favorite level of care is home care. I like working one on one with client. I enjoy being able to unilize the skills that I have learned and trained throughout the years for. I have a happy, peppy, upbeat attitude. Ones..and seen most than me or any one around them...they are the reason why we know what we know and our world continues to better and newer cause it had to start with them....I respect them and their memories created and what they know ..believe and treasure..
