Hi, I'm Doug. I've been Caregiving for 13 years. Haved helped all sorts of clients. I especially can assist those who need a strong person to transfer patients out of their chairs, into cars or bed or onto toilet. I can bath clients on bed, in chair, or in shower. My experience includes people who've had strokes, COPD, Parkinsons, brain damage, paralysis and dementia. Companionship is also an important part of my services, keeping clients feeling safe and comfortable.

I'm a guy who's a fantastic cook that knows the Paso Robles area very well in this arena after being a full-time around the clock caregiver for my late mother who passed in 2025, assisting in all of her needs for nine straight years. I became versed in all facets of care giving from emergency visits to the ER(76 times in nine years) to making all of her meals daily(also picked up restaurant foods) to shopping for her to administration of her meds to light cleaning and yard work. I truly became an in-home professional through the time I was blessed to assist in her every need. As an accomplishment in providing my strength in assisting her so that she could remain in her house with her pets and privacy, I'd say that my experience with her may have been the ultimate achievement in my life, especially when my father asked me twenty years ago on his death bed to please take care of my mother for him.

I am really friendly, and I grew up in a hospice house for my great grandpa and my grandmother is a nurse so I have been around things like this before, I feel I would be a good caregiver because I love being able to help someone in any way I can or even just hanging out with them because they just want a friend.
