I became versed in all facets of care giving from emergency visits to the ER(76 times in nine years) to making all of her meals daily(also picked up restaurant foods) to shopping for her to administration of her meds to light cleaning and yard work. I truly became an in-home professional through the time I was blessed to assist in her every need. As an accomplishment in providing my strength in assisting her so that she could remain in her house with her pets and privacy, I'd say that my experience with her may have been the ultimate achievement in my life, especially when my father asked me twenty years ago on his death bed to please take care of my mother for him.

I became a caregiver because of my mother, she's had back and arm surgery, and she needed full time help, my siblings were not available to help me so I decided to go to school to get my CNA license. it's a rewarding feeling to know you helped another person in need. I am proud to say that my mother no longer needs me, and I would like to further help the families in need of care. I am CNA certified and have basic life support training .
