Became a caregiver to care for my Father in Law, Hospice trained me and he originally stayed in my home 5 months before passing at 92 years old. Since that time I've stayed with individuals and couples in different settings with different medical conditions. I am empathetic , happy Christian woman; enjoy helping others-giving. Very sociable, dependable and caring. Love reading & cooking, If I can make a difference in the life of a loved one, then I have fullfilled my job duties:))

I was a CNA for over 25 years, I have worked with DD/IDD population, Alzheimer,Dementia clients. I worked in hospitals on Cardiac, Oncology, ER and Geriatric units. Care giving has been my life's work.I raised 6 children and now get to enjoy grandchildren. I am a team player and client advocate. I enjoy being able to help individuals be able to stay in their home and building great relationships with them and their family. I had 5 bypasses in 2020 and I have worked for myself for the last 5 years so I no longer have a CNA license. If I'm chosen for this position I promise you won't be disappointed.

My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care. I grew up in the small town of Mars Hill Went to Early college high school where all my classes are honors based. I've worked in many different Nursing homes, Assisted living facilities. If i would describe myself i would say I'm a very honest, trustworthy, cautious, passionate, compassionate person. I've worked in Home care, skilled nursing and Assisted living settings and enjoyed it. I'm very respectful, professional and Oriented. I know how to assist with physical therapy, vital sings assessments such as Blood pressure,respirations, pulse, weight, and give companionship with activities. I'm well trained in infection control, standard precautions. Airborne, contact,droplet precautions. I'm skilled with repositioning, transferring and ambulation with clients I've worked with the mentally disabled, handicapped, and jeryatric patients. Im also well trained on catheter care, colostomy care, palliative care and peri care. I have worked with clients who are on oxygen therapy, kemo therapy, physical therapy. I'm a decent cook. Growing up my little brother was diagnosed with autism so I'm very good with special needs children and elderly. I'm 20 and plan on going back to college soon to pursue my dream of being a registered nurse.
