My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care. I love being able to help families out and hopefully make a difference, its a very rewarding feeling, I'm proud of the way i take care of my clients and treat them with respect and provide them with the best care possible, I am covid vaccinated and cpr certified.

What attracted me to be a caregiver is the need for more community outreach. To be able to help residents in my community who fall under our "underserved" population to educate and help them better understand the help that they are entitled to!!

I'm a 40 year old mother of 3 children, my oldest being in the us navy and my youngest will start kindergarten next august (24/25) I'm originally from southern California where I lived my whole life until 2018 when I moved to western North Carolina. Being my oldest child is in his 20's, I've had many many years of caregiving starting as far back as a babysitter in my preteens. I cared for my grandmother with cancer ending on hospice for about 6 years in my mid to late 20's and since being in nc I've found employment caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My true calling and passion is in caregiving! This app is new to me so I'm not sure how things are coming through. I am the most proud of the 2 women I cared for until their deaths. I was with them every step of the way. They were happy and comfortable with me. I am ow forever part of their family.
