Hello, I'm Ariel I've been working in the caregiving field for 4 years. I've worked mostly nursing homes, so I'm really interested in the one on one caregiving style. I have experience in CPR, first aid, AED training, and medication administration. I'm also familiar with memory care, worked it for 2 years. I got my STNA (state tested nursing assistant) license in 2018 through my high school's college program. I've worked for three nursing facilities and two agencies. I just love getting to know my residents, they always have such beautiful and timeless stories to tell, talking to them is truly my favorite pass time.

I orginally received my STNA in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and I have been doing that type of work since. I absolutely love taking care of people, helping them in their time of need, meeting their needs in advance, organizing their life and being a companion and a friend. I love what I do and am very passionate about it.

My name is Breanna Parry and I moved to Massillon Oh 3 or 4 years ago from a small town in Montana called Judith Gap. I had 3 children in Montana. My oldest are Twin girls. They are identical. My youngest is our boy. My husband and I moved to Ohio to be closer to his family. I left my job at Strawberry Roan stable living. There I assisted with everything except med passes. I have experience with everything from hands on bathing, grooming, clothing changes and bed changes, to activities and meal prep. I worked with a total at the time of 9 residents and did this for over 3 years back in 2013 until we moved in 2016. Since I've done some some work inside a Dementia unit which was of corse a lock down memory and behavioral floor also. I assisted residents with hygiene, meals, and engaged in friendly conversation and proper support they needed to feel loved and welcome. Taking care of people is something I have a passion for assisting and spending time with the elderly especially. Ive sat and acompanied some on their very last days before they pass on. That's my least favorite part. However I feel like if I can make sure they're completely comfortable, well nourished, and taken care of before hand then I know they can feel at ease no matter what the circumstances and my CPR and first aid certifications just need renewed.

I became a caregiver because I have a heart for people also to better learn how to care for my mother. I like being able to bring peace and comfort to families assuring them that their loved one are welled care for with the upmost respect. I'm proud to know that I give my all and knowing that the clients are happy and it's at that time I feel that I have accomplished and build an relationship. I'm a compassionate caregiver with a heart of passion to bring contentment, peace of mind, and comfort.

I'm fully certified by the state of Ohio as a STNA; I completed a 12-week training course at PHOENIX HEALTH CARE TRAINING CENTER .Prior to becoming a STNA. I obtained certification as a HHA prior to that , so I hold that distinction as well. I've spent 3 years on the front lines of healthcare, and I'm well-acquainted with the duties and responsibilities required by STNAs, especially in an elderly care facility. On the practical side, I can feed, dress, bathe and mobilize patients with ease. On the interpersonal side, I've held many hands and listened to many stories. At my previous position, we were only two points away from a perfect score during our last inspection. I'm comfortable interacting with patients of all ages, sizes, genders and nationalities. I think I am a great caretaker because I actually take the time to care for elderly as they are my family. I have a big heart for children and elderly that's what interested me in taking care of the elderly on my own. I enjoy the one on one time with them.
