Hello,I'm a nursing student just looking to help people take care of their love one's in their time of need. I'm very easy going,caring,loving,generous,respectful,and honest. I've always wanted to be in health care since the age of 3. When I was in high school my mother had a stroke & I helped her with recovering. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the bond that you develop with your client. The achievement that I'm proud of most was finishing my medical assistant program with honors (3.5gpa)

I orginally received my STNA in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and I have been doing that type of work since. I absolutely love taking care of people, helping them in their time of need, meeting their needs in advance, organizing their life and being a companion and a friend. I love what I do and am very passionate about it.

I'm fully certified by the state of Ohio as a STNA; I completed a 12-week training course at PHOENIX HEALTH CARE TRAINING CENTER .Prior to becoming a STNA. I obtained certification as a HHA prior to that , so I hold that distinction as well. I've spent 3 years on the front lines of healthcare, and I'm well-acquainted with the duties and responsibilities required by STNAs, especially in an elderly care facility. On the practical side, I can feed, dress, bathe and mobilize patients with ease. On the interpersonal side, I've held many hands and listened to many stories. As previously stated, I meet all of the job requirements you have posted. In particular, I possess the following skills: I can clean and sanitize surfaces to an impeccable degree. At my previous position, we were only two points away from a perfect score during our last inspection. I'm comfortable interacting with patients of all ages, sizes, genders and nationalities. Human beings are human beings, and we all deserve compassion. I can offer basic medical care in the form of wrapping bandages, checking blood pressure and overseeing the taking of medication. I've never been accused or convicted of a crime. I also boast many talents that I haven't included on my resume but are nonetheless well-received by patients. For example, I'm an excellent juggler, and I've provided a lot of entertainment for the people in my ward. My personal philosophy is that patients should always come first. I think I am a great caretaker because I actually take the time to care for elderly as they are my family. I have a big heart for children and elderly that's what interested me in taking care of the elderly on my own. I enjoy the one on one time with them. Hello, My name is Jeannine. I've been working and or volunteering within the human services field for over 12 years. I currently have my masters in Human Services with a specialization in clinical counseling. My grandfather was recently diagnosed with dementia and I lost my grandmother last year due to complications while in a nursing home. Since then I have been an unpaid caregiver for a personal friend who needs 24/7 care. Keeping families at home and together is near and dear to my heart.

I became a caregiver because when I was little my grandfather had a stroke . I admired my father for the way he stepped up and made everyday life easier for him just by helping with the small things . I love to help people. I'm very kind & patient. I love the feeling I get from helping someone and knowing I might have made their day.

I love providing home care services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so.  The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right.  I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Meeting new people and providing care services that they can no longer do for themselves. One of my personal achievement I am proud of is when I worked as a resident safety assistant coordinator in the falls reduction program in the state of Minnesota the percentage before the program was very high and within a year and a half of the program our falls related injuries have reduced by half. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh.
