Hello, I'm Ariel I've been working in the caregiving field for 4 years. I've worked mostly nursing homes, so I'm really interested in the one on one caregiving style. I have experience in CPR, first aid, AED training, and medication administration. I'm also familiar with memory care, worked it for 2 years. I got my STNA (state tested nursing assistant) license in 2018 through my high school's college program. I've worked for three nursing facilities and two agencies. I just love getting to know my residents, they always have such beautiful and timeless stories to tell, talking to them is truly my favorite pass time.

I orginally received my STNA in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and I have been doing that type of work since. I absolutely love taking care of people, helping them in their time of need, meeting their needs in advance, organizing their life and being a companion and a friend. I love what I do and am very passionate about it.

I am a recent college graduate who will be returning to school in the fall to study Nursing. I just recently moved to the Dover area and I am absolutely in love with the community. I currently work as a licensed STNA where I have the privilege of working with residents of the geriatric community and help those with late-stage dementia as well as those in our rehab unit perform ADLs and daily care. When I'm not at work, I love to travel, I love to write music, and I love to exercise. Anything to get me out of the house to do something productive! My long term career goals include becoming an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. I have only ever worked in an "at home" atmosphere, so I understand the needs and preference of keeping loved ones at home. I truly enjoy care for older clients, they are so intriguing and caring, which makes them easy to care for in my opinion. Hello, my name is Angela Dave. I am 20 years old almost 21. I have been doing healthcare work since I've been in high school and have been a certified STNA since a senior in high school. When I was a Jr. in high school I got pregnant and gave birth to my son 1 week before my senior year started. That's when I really buckled down and started to focus on what I need and want to do with my life because I had a whole other life to take care of. My son is now 3 and I've worked in a couple different areas of the healthcare field. In the beginning I did mostly STNA work in nursing homes, then I changed that up a bit and started doing home Health Care work. After high school I went to Mount Union for a year to persue my nursing license. When I went out to school my son wasn't even 1 yet and we were their by ourselves so it got a little difficult. After a year of that I decided it would be best for me to just work for the moment and focus on my son because trying to all three on my own was a little difficult. When I moved back home I started doing some home healthcare work and with that I really enjoyed it. I liked it better then the nursing home environment because you can better get to know your patients and build a relationship with them. I have always been a very giving person and have always had the desire to help someone else.

I'm fully certified by the state of Ohio as a STNA; I completed a 12-week training course at PHOENIX HEALTH CARE TRAINING CENTER .Prior to becoming a STNA. I obtained certification as a HHA prior to that , so I hold that distinction as well. I've spent 3 years on the front lines of healthcare, and I'm well-acquainted with the duties and responsibilities required by STNAs, especially in an elderly care facility. On the practical side, I can feed, dress, bathe and mobilize patients with ease. On the interpersonal side, I've held many hands and listened to many stories. As previously stated, I meet all of the job requirements you have posted. In particular, I possess the following skills: I can clean and sanitize surfaces to an impeccable degree.
