Hi, I have worked previously as a special Education Teacher. I love helping people and increasing their ability to be self sufficient. I enjoy the relationships I form with people while trying to help them. Helping people gives me purpose and helps them succeed.

I am looking for a full time long term live-in position. I am drug free, only drink socially and do NOT do drugs. I will relocate myself upon hire. Here's my short list: I am a 62 year old semi-retired Respiratory Therapist. I have my own vehicles. I am very organized and have lots of experience caring for people. Excellent cook, housekeeper and home organizer. I currently cook, clean and do laundry for my client in addition to his personal care and companionship. My current position is live-in with room and board and $525 per week salary. I work for myself on a cash basis. I lately worked as a live-in caregiver for an 88 year old who recently went into hospice care and has passed away, I currently work as a live-in Resident Assistant at an Adult Family Group Home for developmentally disabled. Prior to that, I was a personal assistant/housekeeper/cook for Racine's Case High School Principal (Wisconsin), until he moved to CA for health issues. Prior to that I was live-in Housekeeper/cook for a professional gay couple in Trevor, WI. I have tons of experience with children, and have a 35 year medical background. Also interested in positions in Ashland County, OH 44805 area and will re-locate for the right position. Please be aware of State Laws regarding live-in domestic care givers hours for work. There are time off requirements. 24 hours a day 7 days per week is not an expectation you should have. It's demanding work and all caregivers need time to recharge. I consider myself to be very compassionate, caring and supportive as a person. I have good communication skills and I always carry a positive attitude. Caregiving is a huge personal accomplishment for. The ability to be very resourceful help people gives me joy. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love to help Seniors and Elderly as they become disable or frail due to increase in age. I have 10+ years of experience as caregiver, 5+ years as Live-in. I want to work as Live-in Caregiver or Long Shifts. Initially I was taking care at my home itself to look after the loved one. Later on it became my profession. Thanks to Madison Technical College who trained me to obtain my Certification as Nursing Assistant. I got my Nursing Aide License in 2009. My sincere efforts rewarded me as Employee of the Month during my health care career. It is a profession which include several work tasks, one cannot write in complete details, it may take lot of time and writing space. However, to name a few: Activities of Daily living, toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, skin care, nail care, dressing, meal preparation and feeding. In case of transfers: Hoyer lift, Ez lift, wheel chair transfers. Med reminders, errands and shopping. Doctor's appointment or recreational trips. Range of Motion and other instructed exercises if any. Light house keeping and laundry is also a part of the Caregiver's job. Time management, client's safety and security is also first priority to be provided to clients. Apart from physical support, emotional assistance is also important while providing care.
