I'm a very hard dedicated worker. I love to help others achieve daily goals and ADLs. I've done work as a Direct Support Person , Security Guard Supervisor , and Certified Nursing assistant. I have great communication /customer service skills and offers great companionship . Great with all residents have worked with all age groups (seniors , young adults , and children as well as mental and physical disabilities .

Through personal experience with both my grandmothers, we found it difficult to find good quality and reliable care. Starting in High school I took a medical terminology course , and from there my interest in the medical field grew. I took the CNA course through Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville and LOVED IT! I opted to take the additional Advance Nursing Assistant course. I have worked in many different environment such as nursing homes, hospital and Home Health. After 3 years I decided to open my own business become licensed and insured to provide Care for others in their Home and it's been the Best discission of my life!!

I am looking for a full time long term live-in position. I am drug free, only drink socially and do NOT do drugs. I will relocate myself upon hire. Here's my short list: I am a 62 year old semi-retired Respiratory Therapist. I have my own vehicles. I am very organized and have lots of experience caring for people. Excellent cook, housekeeper and home organizer. I currently cook, clean and do laundry for my client in addition to his personal care and companionship. My current position is live-in with room and board and $525 per week salary. I work for myself on a cash basis. I lately worked as a live-in caregiver for an 88 year old who recently went into hospice care and has passed away, I currently work as a live-in Resident Assistant at an Adult Family Group Home for developmentally disabled. Prior to that, I was a personal assistant/housekeeper/cook for Racine's Case High School Principal (Wisconsin), until he moved to CA for health issues. Prior to that I was live-in Housekeeper/cook for a professional gay couple in Trevor, WI. I have tons of experience with children, and have a 35 year medical background. Also interested in positions in Ashland County, OH 44805 area and will re-locate for the right position. Please be aware of State Laws regarding live-in domestic care givers hours for work. There are time off requirements. 24 hours a day 7 days per week is not an expectation you should have. It's demanding work and all caregivers need time to recharge. I would say I am great care giver because I always put the well being of my client first, I am very old fashion, respectful, funny and alway exceptionally professional. I am always open to learn and a very fast learner at that. For me being a care giver helps to give back to the elderly and help to make their lives easier.

I love to think of myself as a smart fun loving woman. I have always been a caregiver at heart from the time I was fifteen my great grandmother became ill and i loved going to her house hearing stories. So naturally I help with all her health care needs that came along in the day as we would sit and talk and cook I would get her medications and do anything else she needed. And after her passing I really wanted to get in the care worker field.

I love to help Seniors and Elderly as they become disable or frail due to increase in age. I have 10+ years of experience as caregiver, 5+ years as Live-in. I want to work as Live-in Caregiver or Long Shifts. Initially I was taking care at my home itself to look after the loved one. Later on it became my profession. Thanks to Madison Technical College who trained me to obtain my Certification as Nursing Assistant. I got my Nursing Aide License in 2009. It is a profession which include several work tasks, one cannot write in complete details, it may take lot of time and writing space. However, to name a few: Activities of Daily living, toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, skin care, nail care, dressing, meal preparation and feeding. In case of transfers: Hoyer lift, Ez lift, wheel chair transfers. Med reminders, errands and shopping. Doctor's appointment or recreational trips. Range of Motion and other instructed exercises if any. Light house keeping and laundry is also a part of the Caregiver's job. Time management, client's safety and security is also first priority to be provided to clients. Apart from physical support, emotional assistance is also important while providing care.

Hi my name is Marissa, I started caregiving after I graduated highschool. I was very close with my grandma. She was my world. She passed away in 2009, and I honestly did it there on out. Elderly are super important to me and need to be loved. I love knowing I can help a family in need when I know how tough it is to care for a parent or family member when you have your own life to live as well, I enjoy it and it could be a good career. It's rough sometimes, and I miss who I've cared for but it is the circle of life. Dementia Alzheimers med giving Bed bound patients Bed baths med giving feeding. Gtube feeding switching out bags and adminstiring pills through gtube. Companionship weekly I'd buy lunch and we'd play games puzzles etc walks outside or simply staying in watching the news. I have given insulin for diabetics also checking blood sugar catheter changes and new ones! I am very qualifed for many positions. I was also a personal assistant as well, computer work, errands, work emails business calls.
