Hello, My name is Margaret. I laugh alot and I take my Clients very seriously. I am one person who love her work. I provide care to my recipients as I would love to be served, uncompromised care. My Clients means alot to me because I understand that I feed my family from what they pay me. Therefore, I sherish them and treat them with due respect. I have a background where I took care of my Grandfather for two good years, when he fell and became hemipledgic. I have loved taking care of Seniors ever since. 1993. In 2004, I did my CNA, and I have worked as a caregiver ever since. I have seen Seniors go through geriatric challenges and I have been a very close person to them, until when they leave this word. I have learnt to love and to provide care and support that they deserve until their last day. I am not bragging, but I have been a good friend to anyone who fell in my hands as a recipient. I have mostly done Private Care and also through Agencies. I enjoy what I do.
I love caring for and helping people of all ages and have specialized most recently in eldercare. I am outgoing, kind and thoughtful. I became a professional care provider after caring for my own mother during her final years with dementia and Alzheimer's. In working with clients/patients, I enjoy having conversations, reading to them, making them laugh and smile, and making them feel well-attended to and loved. I enjoy sharing their interests with them in an active way, be it listening to music, the arts, watching films or special TV programming. I enjoy assisting with visits to and from friends and family, taking them to religious services or other outings. Am skilled at making sure clients get enough movement and activity as their capacity and situation allows. I love to cook, and am known for my excellent culinary skills. I have an excellent driving record and can be counted on to solve problems and handle emergencies. I am most proud of the wonderful, warm and lasting relationships I have maintained with the families of the people I care for. I look forward to caring for your loved ones!

One of the best qualities that I have as a caregiver is a sense of empathy. Whether I'm caring for a small child in a daycare or helping an elderly person recover from surgery, a sense of personal understanding and connection is vital. I understand the elderly may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay those fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those that I care for. Patience is also vital to the role of caregiver, I'm able to separate myself from potential anger and resentment and not take the situation personally, all while still providing high-quality care services. I can keep calm and soothe them in their time of distress or anxiety and being a a voice of encouragement. I'm reliable because I know that they depend on us and often feel a sense of personal attachment. I'm continually on time, particularly if administering food or medical care. The job of a caregiver is challenging yet rewarding. I do this because I am following a dream of helping others. Providing care to people, who cannot look after themselves, while maintaining their dignity, is an accomplishment in itself. I thrive helping people who cannot help themselves.
