I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. Looking primarily for day shift or overnight.

I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. I also like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. The thing I like the most being a caregiver is making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.
