I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

I've been working with elderly community since the early part of my nursing career back in 1992. I have worked in multiple nursing homes with years of LVN experiences. Patience and compassion are the traits that I can say I developed working as a nurse for older people. Respect for elderly is instilled by my parents in me since I was young.

I became a caregiver because of my Mother she had became ill and I wanted to care for her but because I was not experienced in the health field she wanted some one who was in the health care field, so she had to go to the hospital and when I went to visit her I seen that she was in pain and uncomfortable in the hospital bed, and I tried to help her but did not know how too, and that made me very angry, so I decided to take a class in nursing Assistant and Home Health, but by the time I was finished with the course my Mother passed away. which helped me to see that their are others that need help in their homes and in nursing homes and I wanted do it for my mother to care to those in need and, I love caring for others, and I know my Mother is smiling down on me every time I make a difference in helping someone to live their life as much as possible. My greatest achievement is when making life better for others, like I met a lady who had had a stroke and her husband was caring for her and she was having problems with her hands stiffening up so I made her a home made device to help her be able to open and close her hand for exercise, so she could regain her strength in her hands and move her fingers. It was just rolled up towels but it helped her and made a difference and she was so pleased and so was I.

When I was younger I played piano professionally. I also donated my time playing piano for a senior care facility. I did this every Friday night for 5 years. Every person had their own special song that I played for them and they loved singing along. Example: Mr Krause, (102 years old) loved "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and said I was "his sweetheart." I've always loved and respected seniors and became close with all I've met. I've passed the LiveScan, negative TB test Covid (negative) and registered as HHA with the State of California (current until August 2022.)

I am currently a Manager at a Vascular Surgical canter and I also help in recovery as a C.N.A post recovery. I have worked in a nursing home when I first entered the medical field, studied medical terminology, worked as a Lead Supervisor in an orthopedic surgical center for total joints. I am also a mother and I have been blessed with a gift to always help others. I love what I do, it's not a job it's a God given gift to be able to help those in need. Sometimes the companionship makes a huge difference in people lives. My ability to help others and also be able to provide for my family is why I do what I do. I treat every patient as I would want my own parents to be treated. I am also certified and up to date with my BLS (Basic Life Support License) CPR & AED certified.

I'am an experienced caregiver with 10 years of knowledge and experience with senior care. I am a LVN and also have my certifications as a CNA , HHA , CPR/First Aid. I have worked in a hospital/ skilled nursing facility for 6 years and the other 4 years I was a private nurse/caregiver in my patients home. I have reliable transportation , very knowledgeable, hardworking and empathetic towards my clients and their families. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish.
