I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

I've been working with elderly community since the early part of my nursing career back in 1992. I have worked in multiple nursing homes with years of LVN experiences. Patience and compassion are the traits that I can say I developed working as a nurse for older people. Respect for elderly is instilled by my parents in me since I was young.

I am a passionate care giver with over 4 years experience in care. I have previous experience a certified nurse assistant and I keep up with recent trends and my license is up to date. I worked at specialized nursing facilities and hospitals where I got all my clinical skills from. I dont see caregiving as a job but a calling to help senior have a good end of life with passionate care, this driven ideology and passionate enable me pursue a nursing degree which I have started the perquisites. I am currently a Manager at a Vascular Surgical canter and I also help in recovery as a C.N.A post recovery. I have worked in a nursing home when I first entered the medical field, studied medical terminology, worked as a Lead Supervisor in an orthopedic surgical center for total joints. I am also a mother and I have been blessed with a gift to always help others. I love what I do, it's not a job it's a God given gift to be able to help those in need. Sometimes the companionship makes a huge difference in people lives. My ability to help others and also be able to provide for my family is why I do what I do. I treat every patient as I would want my own parents to be treated. I am also certified and up to date with my BLS (Basic Life Support License) CPR & AED certified.

I enjoy what I do and love to see people happy ! Helping someone that was injured and helping them to recover is a great feeling! Taking care of people that are ill and helping them to feel better is a great feeling!

I am a loving, caring and passionate caregiver who took care of both my parents when they became ill. My father had cancer & my mom had several strokes which left her confined to bed 24/7. I did changing, bathing, turning every 2 hours, spoon feeding, g-tube care, gave meds, took vitals, motion and range exercises, transfer from bed to wheelchair. Did everything I could to keep them mentally healthy & keep their spirits high by singing, dancing, reading & praying for them. My passion was to care for my parents and give them the best quality care, to show them as much love & comfort as possible. I know how important it is to find someone to care for your loved one and give them the care they need & deserve. Empathy and sympathy is what makes me great caregiver. We've all been through tough times that have shaped the people we are today. Everyone has been through their own journeys to become that person and my purpose is to remember that and treat everyone with the respect they deserve. I love helping people and seeing the relief on their faces when they realize someone actually cares about them, who wants to help them so that they do not feel alone. What also makes me feel like this is the perfect career choice for me is when residents ask for me by name to be their CNA and that I'm their favorite caregiver because they know they can depend on me and trust me. Its a great feeling.

Really feels great when my patients remembered all the good things that I've done for them, those Thank You's, remembering my name, telling me that they want me to be their CNA/Caregiver is just amazing. I became a Caregiver because that's what I wanted to be, I really like taking care of people, and I think it's on my genes, my mother is a caregiver and so as my brother, what I liked being a Caregiver is that at least I can help them and and take care of them with love and treat them like my own family. My personal achievement that I'm really proud of is because of this job I'm still able to help my family back home (Philippines), helping them to go to school, in case of emergency like going to the hospital and need some help about money, even it's just a small amount, I know they're all happy and me too.
