I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. I enjoy the career of care-giving because it truly is a career that is far reaching and meaningful beyond my imagination.

My name is Arlette, My journey working with seniors started when I cared for my grandmother when she needed the help about 10 years ago. After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. In terms of handling a patient, I can say I have a lot of patience and perseverance. I can easily communicate and give rapport for them. For experience,I worked in a care home before so the task for medication, preparing food, monitoring the vital signs, assessing the patient was not hard for me. I can assure that I can give my best for taking care of my patient.

It's very important to me that once I take a client in that's my responsibility. I can cook well and I'm very tidy. I'm experienced in using walkers, wheelchairs and walking canes.
