I'm a very positive thinker I'm easily to get along with I love people and I love to see people happy. I always knew I wanted to help people and as I grew older this is the type of work I always wanted to do, is to take care of people, I have a big heart and I'm very compassionate towards everybody and anybody.. What I enjoy most of caregiving is I love to see people happy and comfortable in their home environment.

I'm a fair ,honest caring person, being able to help people in their homes so they wouldn't have to go to a facility. I enjoy working with the elderly and enjoy being a caregiver. I enjoy making them smile and helping in what I can to make easier on them and the family. I cared for my dad when he was sick and i enjoyed every minute I had with him. I have worked in a dementia and Alzheimer's unit we had didn't resident with different situations i enjoyed it very much. I heard stories about thier life's and it was rewarding to see thier smiles daily.

When I Was 23 My Grandmother Was Diagnosed With Pancreatic Cancer. My Dad Aunts & Uncles All Kinda Sat Around A Table Looking At Each Other Trying To Determine The Best Solution For My Grandmother. They Decided They Would Hire A Local Agency. I Applied To Care For Her & Was Hired For The Job. My Grandmother Lived Two Years After Her Diagnosis. She Made Me Realize That Families & The Elderly Really Need Help. My Grandmother Told Me One Day "It Takes A Special Person To Do What You Do" From That Day Forward I Wanted To Help Where I Was Needed. Fast Forward 8 Years I'm Still Caregiving & Doing What I Love Helping Others. I'm Bilingual And A Fast Learner.

Although I have not directly worked in the medical or healthcare fields, I am very familiar with some things. My mom is a Stroke survivor and has vascular issues in her legs and feet. I also used to help out her friend who was disabled from a Stroke and had no one to help her. I am passionate, caring, patient, kind and honest. I used wonder what it would be like to get to be a caregiver. My mom has had a few helpers who weren't so great and it would drive me crazy that I could not get paid for all the assistance I was providing. So my experience is definitely personal experiences I am not taught by books on giving care, I was self taught. My proudest achievement would have to be finally leaving the nest and creating a new life for myself and my daughter and of course achieving my degree. There was one point in time where I did not believe I would ever get to complete a college degree. Overall, it would be great to give care to people who are stuck in a hard place with no family who can come in and be their savior. Everyone needs someone and may need some help and we should be giving more help to people who truly cannot do much for their self anymore, life is tough enough as it is.

I have had been a caregiver to my own Mom who passed away 2016. I took care of her 24/7 daily baths, hair grooming, toilet needs and feeding her every 3 meals. I have in the past taken care of other Elderly people. I am a loving and devoted person with a big heart. I always wamted to be. Nurse, I have worked in the Medical Field as a Assistant and loved my job fir years. I enjoy making them happy for the day and they deserve the best treatment. I have been a compationate person all my life and took care of grandparents on their death beds. I grew fond of my Aunt whom was a nurse she tought me alot.
