I'm a very positive thinker I'm easily to get along with I love people and I love to see people happy. I always knew I wanted to help people and as I grew older this is the type of work I always wanted to do, is to take care of people, I have a big heart and I'm very compassionate towards everybody and anybody.. What I enjoy most of caregiving is I love to see people happy and comfortable in their home environment.

What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion toward my clients. my caring for them like their were my parents. i became a caregiver for my mom . i realize that all people needed some loving tender care.My biggest achievement is yet to come Im always looking to achieve more tomorrow than i did today . and striving to improve myself all the time.

Experience with individuals living with and managing recovery from severe mental illness, intellectual disabilities, co-occuring substance use disorder and a variety of co-occurring physical illnesses. Experience is isolated to adult populations. Have helped individuals in the community, their own homes, outpatient clinical settings, nursing and rehabilitaton facilities, and group home environments.

I enjoy working with the elderly and enjoy being a caregiver. I enjoy making them smile and helping in what I can to make easier on them and the family. I cared for my dad when he was sick and i enjoyed every minute I had with him. I have worked in a dementia and Alzheimer's unit we had didn't resident with different situations i enjoyed it very much. I heard stories about thier life's and it was rewarding to see thier smiles daily.

Although I have not directly worked in the medical or healthcare fields, I am very familiar with some things. My mom is a Stroke survivor and has vascular issues in her legs and feet. I also used to help out her friend who was disabled from a Stroke and had no one to help her. I am passionate, caring, patient, kind and honest. I used wonder what it would be like to get to be a caregiver. My mom has had a few helpers who weren't so great and it would drive me crazy that I could not get paid for all the assistance I was providing. So my experience is definitely personal experiences I am not taught by books on giving care, I was self taught. My proudest achievement would have to be finally leaving the nest and creating a new life for myself and my daughter and of course achieving my degree. There was one point in time where I did not believe I would ever get to complete a college degree. Overall, it would be great to give care to people who are stuck in a hard place with no family who can come in and be their savior. Everyone needs someone and may need some help and we should be giving more help to people who truly cannot do much for their self anymore, life is tough enough as it is.

I am a very good listener and motivator. I like to make a difference in other people lives with caring g for them.
