I became a caregiver 26 years ago because I have a soft spot for the elderly and I enjoy helping and caring for the aging population. What I enjoy best being a caregiver is, I get to learn a lot from my elderly clients life experiences! I enjoy conversation with them, lending a helping hand, and a listening ear. All while providing genuine companionship.

I became a CNA/Caregiver to care for my Parents properly. Then I cared for others too when I was younger. I naturally Care for people, it is very rewarding to me. I like CNA work because I seem to have such a rewarding time with the person I care for. Everyone seems to go so fast in this computer age and it isn't like that when you care for someone. I have been told I calm people, I am fun, I listen, I simply care. I did save a women's life more than once and if a person is happy then it would naturally be they or he or she would have more of a will to be alive. i had a Son that was sick as he was growing up. It was very challenging for me to love someone so much and see him so young. Now I just like to make live's better and I do. My only criteria is that the person is truly nice to be around. I am a caregiver for twelve (12) years now. I started working as an office staff of a Home Care Agency where I also helped with some caregiving assignments when no one can go or a caregiver is sick to work. I realized I am more happier and fulfilled working with the elderly. That's how I started to become a caregiver. I am very hardworking, responsible, committed, organized, loving and happy caregiver. I am proud of myself when I make my patients satisfied and happy with my job. I like working with the elderly because the job reminds me of my parents when I helped them. The fulfilment I get from being a caregiver was when I am treated like family even after my job was finished. I realized that working with the elderly made me a better person, responsible caregiver and a compassionate human being. I always have more love in my heart for the elderly.

I have years of experience with elderly. I am compassionate, reliable, enthusiastic, happy, caring, and loving to my clients. I make sure my clients are satisfied with my service. I have empathy, I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I can have one on one interaction with client, client's family, friends and medical health care providers. It makes me feel satisfied when I accomplish something good to people who need help because I love to help.

Im an experienced caregiver for 8 yrs now and i love this job coz im a passionate person with very wide patience. I made my senior feel that thay are my own family member and i made them laugh with my sense of humor. Giving them the best care to live their life to their fullest. I had experienced taking care of seniors from companionship, dementia, diabetic, fractured, & hospice patients with copd, ovarian cancer, colon cancer & breast cancer and all of them appreciated & loved me till their last breath coz i let them feel loved & secured everyday. There was even one cancer patient when the daughter & I took her to the emergency hospital and then the nurse asked the daughter to asked her mom if she recognized her but the patient said no so when i asked her if she recognized me i was amazed cos she mentioned my name very clearly. Thats one of my experienced that i wouldnt forget being a caregiver.

I am passionate about providing high quality care to individuals in need. Most of the patients we care for are very vulnerable and are not provided with the care they deserve. I will ensure that my patient's needs are always met with outmost respect and dignity. I take pride that at the places that I have worked the residents always request me because they are happy with the service I provide. Finally I am a hard worker, great leadership skill, works well with others, go above and beyond to help everyone around me, and I have extremely flexible schedule.

Helping elderly on their daily routines, making sure they get the help they needed and being their companion makes me a caregiver. I love what I do knowing that I am helping people do things they can no longer do on their own and making them feel that someone really cares for them. I love nurturing the elderly as it reminds me of my grandparents. The comments and appreciations from my clients and client's relatives makes me proud of myself and what I do.

I have 11 years caregiving experience.. I'm kind,responsible, patient , loyal and expirienced caregiver.. i been in school in the Philippines for RN course for only a year but I didn't finish it because I came in U.S..I hope I can finish my degree later...I encountered almost all different kinds of cases...I used to work in rehab , home, asisted living and etc. I really love taking care of elderly like how taking care of my self and I treat them like my own family...
