I became interested in care giving because my Mom was in an automobile accident which left her paralyzed & my sister-in-law was in an automobile accident which left her with a brain injury. I was my mom's caregiver from age 17 until I was married at age 22. While living in Greenwood, IN, I worked for Companion Care as a cargiver. My Mom moved in with us in 2010, I took care of her until she passed in 2016. I enjoy helping people to be able to live at home without having to live in a nursing home. I prefer not to bath & dress, I helped my mom with bathing & dressing, however it was something I did because it needed to be done, I was never comfortable with this part of her care. If I get to know the person and they need help every once in awhile, I will do anything to help them. I was with 2 of my clients in Greenwood, IN until they passed away, I prefer the one on one attention I can give when working with an individual in their home.

I started working for a caregiver when I was 16 taking care of someone's grandmother. I am very passionate about taking care of people with disabilities or assisting the elderly in their daily living skills. One of my greatest achievements I'm proud of would be the years of service the things I've learned has definitely helped me in a loving fulfilling career.

Hi! My name is Chrissy and I'm a wife and a mom of two teenage boys. Besides raising my boys, we are a family of 10 goats, a ton of chickens (fresh eggs!!), and three dogs, all adopted. I have been in emergency care for 10+ years and love giving back to my community. I currently work in the town I grew up in. I have made lifelong relationships while being there and consider them a part of my family. My very first job out of high school was a CNA at Beecher Anchorage. I formed some pretty strong bonds with some of the residents along with their families. I love helping take care of people and know that I am making a difference in someone else's life. It's important to me that I create a strong bond with my patient and also their family.

My Name is Pearlie, I have always had the caretaker trait since I was around 10 years old. I was the grandkid that wanted to stay in the house and help my grandmother take care of my granddad and the person that want a babysitting job in the summer to help out the family. It make me feel good to do for others when the can't or have no one to help them complete their daily living duties. I Love my career. I have been a CNA for 10 years. I worked in an ER for 8 years and have 2 years of nursing home experience. I believe in giving the best quality of care.

I am young and am willing to put my body to work to help the others than cannot. I enjoy spending my time with the elderly and giving back. Even if its not with the elderly all the time, I still enjoy giving back to those who are suffering from illnesses. If I can help, I will in any way I can. My stepmother is a Nurse Practitioner and most of my family consists of Nurses. This made me want to get my foot in the door for nursing school so I became a CNA. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to feel accomplished when helping someone. I love that I am able to be trusted and counted on to help an individual out.
