I became interested in care giving because my Mom was in an automobile accident which left her paralyzed & my sister-in-law was in an automobile accident which left her with a brain injury. I was my mom's caregiver from age 17 until I was married at age 22. While living in Greenwood, IN, I worked for Companion Care as a cargiver. My Mom moved in with us in 2010, I took care of her until she passed in 2016. I enjoy helping people to be able to live at home without having to live in a nursing home. I prefer not to bath & dress, I helped my mom with bathing & dressing, however it was something I did because it needed to be done, I was never comfortable with this part of her care. If I get to know the person and they need help every once in awhile, I will do anything to help them. I was with 2 of my clients in Greenwood, IN until they passed away, I prefer the one on one attention I can give when working with an individual in their home.

Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! I like to do puzzles and watch a good movie/show when I can!! In all I'm very nice funny smart well educated and trained caregiver who takes pride in my work; I do what I do because I care and respect my clients and families I truly want to help provide my best to benefit everyone!!

I started working for a caregiver when I was 16 taking care of someone's grandmother. I am very passionate about taking care of people with disabilities or assisting the elderly in their daily living skills. One of my greatest achievements I'm proud of would be the years of service the things I've learned has definitely helped me in a loving fulfilling career.

My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I like being able to help the elderly live with some independence in their life. One of my achievements was to receive an A in my CNA class. I am a responsible person. I would like to add that I have already had a fingerprinted background check. I am on the Illinois health registry. I have my current CPR as well.

I Love my career. I have been a CNA for 10 years. I worked in an ER for 8 years and have 2 years of nursing home experience. I believe in giving the best quality of care.

I am young and am willing to put my body to work to help the others than cannot. I enjoy spending my time with the elderly and giving back. Even if its not with the elderly all the time, I still enjoy giving back to those who are suffering from illnesses. If I can help, I will in any way I can. My stepmother is a Nurse Practitioner and most of my family consists of Nurses. This made me want to get my foot in the door for nursing school so I became a CNA. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to feel accomplished when helping someone. I love that I am able to be trusted and counted on to help an individual out.
