I Love Helping And Caring For Other People. Giving Help Where Help Is Needed is My Passion. I've Been A Caregiver For Over 10 Years And It's Okay To Have The Experience But When You Have The Passion To Help Is A Whole Another Scale.

The main reason I became a CNA to help my grandmother. Being raised by my grandmother, I want to do anything I could to help her as she has done for me until her passing. Since her death in 1977, I use my skills and experience helping other seniors. What I enjoy most about caring for seniors is knowing I have made a different in their lives. When I provide care to my clients, I'm providing care to myself, a very good friend, my grandmother, my mother, my grand father, because my clients are a part of my family. My greatest achievement in caring for my clients is when I can give them something that the doctor or medication cannot give and that's a sense that life doesn't have to be over. For example I have bought home clients from the hospital who was given two weeks to live, after caring for them they out live the two weeks by months and one lived almost a year longer than what the doctor had given. She was able to travel twice to her home state (from California to Ohio), driving herself to church, going out to lunch and dinner with friends. Those were the things she enjoyed doing before she became ill. Something about me, I received my C N A in high school (1976), I have three children two boys and one girl (decease). I also attended two colleges Long Beach City College in Long Beach, CA and Columbia MO online course. My major is Human Services. I'm currently working for a Home Care Agency who only take care of veterans.

I believe in Holistic Healing & Compassionate Care. I enjoy being a caregiver because it allows me to make a positive impact on someone's life, provide support, and show empathy. It provides a sense of fulfillment and purpose when I help those in need. I find great satisfaction in making a difference in others' lives. I'm compassionate, patient, empathic, adaptable, great communicator, dependable, respectful, great problem solver, attentive and a firm believer in self care. I am immensely proud of having had the privilege to provide hospice care for my mother during her battle with cancer. Also I take great pride in having been the caregiver for my uncle during his battle with stage 5 kidney failure. It was a deeply challenging and emotional journey, but being there to offer comfort, support, and love during their final moments brought a profound sense of fulfillment. It's an experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I'm grateful to have been there for them in their time of need. My farther has high blood pressure & COPD, I am grateful to be a shining light during those critical moments, providing comfort, peace and a piece of mind to his daily life. I bring the same level of care to all my clients.

Good Day, My name is Crystal and I'm 46 yrs old. Before my father and grandmother passed 11 years ago I helped take care of both my father and grandmother. My father had a liver and kidney disease while my grandmother had dementia and CPOD. Taking care of both my father and grandmother was a blessing. I enjoy been able to make someone happy, feel loved and that they are cared for when they need it the most. Been able to care for your love ones so you have a peace of mind they are getting their everyday needs met in their home.

Hi , my name is Tammie Iwara I have been care giving for over 29 years . I've worked in hospitals,long term care,home health,group , and office settings. I have spent time with so many wonderful people,and I've learned that even in the midst of illness ,or altered state of mind there is always a desire to feel wanted, loved and listened to. I am thankful, and honored to have played a part in so many lives, and look forward to fulfilling the lives of those to come.

I am detail oriented and I do what is asked of me. I enjoy being a caregiver because I see just the little things can have such an impact on someone. I would say my best personality trait is that I have a big heart. I have always been a caregiver, especially when it came to family. I currently work as a lead teacher in a daycare, I love my job so very much! I enjoy being surrounded by joy and love. I would say I love the connections you get with the family's is what I love the most. It's all about caring for the person and their family so they all feel heard :)
