I am a loving and Compassionate person. I started taking of my grand mother at the age 15yrs old and she is 92, so that is what motivated me to be a caregiver and pursue the career. I enjoy it because it is a work that require human conscience and it remind me that' one day I will be old. It is call to serve God through humanity it is not just a profession. You need patience and tolerance to accommodate the elderly. The quality of care I will give determination how long their lifespan will live especially for the hospice patients ,and for the dementia and Alzheimer's patient, it require a lot of strategy and knowledge of the stage and how to handle them. For bed bound or disable they need total care service.

It brings me great joy knowing that the patients I take care of and work for can have a better quality of life by getting to know them and help them with whatever they need. I have always enjoyed not only working with older people, but children as well. I have been a caregiver for many years not only for family and relatives but people I never knew before. I always feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that the people who I work for can finally feel relief knowing they are around someone trustworthy and honest, and someone that they can feel comfortable with. I am proud of the fact that I am going to online college to pursue a degree in business management so that one day maybe I can open my own healthcare establishment. The thing I enjoy most about working as a caregiver is the great big hugs I get from my clients as a rewarding way of saying thank you for what I do!

I am completing my graduate degrees, in social work and theology. I am a veteran who has experience as medic as well as over 10 years of caregiving experience. Although I am meticulous about client safety and well-being, I try to make sure clients are comfortable and enjoying their time with me. My ultimate goal is to be part of a care team that helps keep individuals in the home for as long as possible.
