What makes me great, is the love, compassion, my loyalty to my clients and family. Everyone has a calling, a purpose in life. And for me is helping, giving and sharing with others. My biggest achievement is watching someone get their confident back and feeling that they are not in it by them selves. Sharing their smiles, laughter and even tears. Just to know they know someone really care.

My best personality trait is caring for everyone around me it humbles me and it makes me good at my job. What attracted me to be a CNA/Caregiver is the family history I have with taking car of my grandparents. Also, I've always adored older folk. What I enjoy about being a CNA/Caregiver is the bond and quality time with each client. The personal achievement I'm most proud of is being able to be independent and to do anything I put my mind to.

I am a compassionate caregiver and have over 20 years experience. I enjoy helping my clients feel as independent as possible, truly taken care of, their needs and concerns addressed, and like a valuable person, not a number. I support and encourage the family (when appropriate). I'm good with most pets. I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs. I'm honest, trustworthy, and I WILL show up!

It brings me great joy knowing that the patients I take care of and work for can have a better quality of life by getting to know them and help them with whatever they need. I'm very excited to work as a caregiver. I look forward to helping others, and as a caregiver I strive to be a great listener and kind to everyone. I have always been interested in caring for others, especially since I have been caring for my disabled mother for about 5 years. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to provide support for those who aren't able to care for themselves. I am a loving and Compassionate person. I started taking of my grand mother at the age 15yrs old and she is 92, so that is what motivated me to be a caregiver and pursue the career. I enjoy it because it is a work that require human conscience and it remind me that' one day I will be old. It is call to serve God through humanity it is not just a profession. You need patience and tolerance to accommodate the elderly. The quality of care I will give determination how long their lifespan will live especially for the hospice patients ,and for the dementia and Alzheimer's patient, it require a lot of strategy and knowledge of the stage and how to handle them. For bed bound or disable they need total care service.

I became a caregiver/CNA because I like being able to help people. I like being able to see the joy in people that I help. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I am a college nursing student with straight a grades. I am a very easy going people person.
