He had an accident and was tetraplegic. He couldn't do the simplest task he used to do like brushing his teeth or grooming his beard or even eat. It was really difficult for him in the beginning and we had to step in and help him adjust through the new phase of his life. Through adequate care, listening to him and making sure he felt loved, valued and worthy despite his situation, we created an environment in which he could still feel he mattered. And for that I'm proud. And these are the same values that I apply when I work.

I have been providing senior care since 2000. My education includes being a current LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, addiction counselor for 5 years and Masters in Human Services. I look forward to speaking with you regarding my qualifications. I am a very patient individual and believe that communication is the key to resolving most difficulties in life. I have 4 children of which 2 are still at home. I am a single mom who enjoys nature walks, being involved in the church and living a serene and quiet lifestyle. I am a very organized and time oriented person. I care about my work and love what I do. It always been in my heart to help people especially the elderly.
