my passion for caregiving kick off when I was growing up as a child. I spend lot of time with my grandparents, which allow me to understands their needs and limitations. How I help them overcome those challengers reignited with me up to now, and give me a wild sense of humanity, especially when life's challenges hits us along the road. spending time helping senior, people with challenging lifestyles, help them physically, psychology, and make them feels part of society. current i still aid one of my nephew who will born with physical disability. currently am studying Computer programing, but I love caregiving, because if brings me joy when peoples smile . Hi,my name is Gamada. I have been caregiver for the last 8 Year's I loved it in the beginning and I still love it. one day I want to open my own adult family home. I have experience and right training. I use to work in the hospital as a cook for patients when I was in Minnesota and from there I start caring more and more for the patients even though I am just making food but it's beyond making food, I am making a difference in their daily lives and that's when I decided to become a care giver and I love helping people from young to elderly. it's some thing that I am proud of doing.

I'm very much a people person & highly empathetic. I knew I wanted to be a caretaker/Nurse since high school working as a volunteer in local hospital. I come from a family of caretakers so it's in my genetics. I've done many aspects of caregiving from rooming patients in local clinic to skilled unit in nursing facility & Alzheimer's unit. I love geriatric care due to the respect I have for the elderly. They've earned it for surviving through hardships I've only read about & learned in history class, which brings me to the fact that they have the best stories to tell if able to. I take pride in my care & the bigger the challenge it is with not so happy clients/patients I manage to get them to open up a bit & do my best to turn there frown upside down raising there spirits up. I welcome new challenges & learning about something new especially if it helps my care towards my patient. Dementia/Alzheimer's care is my specialty.

I remembered growing up wanting to be a surgeon. I didn't end up being a surgeon but I knew I have a huge heart to care for people. I'm passionate with what I do.
