I have always liked taking care of people since I was little. I'm outgoing and love to talk to people and get to know people. Taking care of there needs. I'm proud of raising my 3 children that is my biggest accomplishment.

My personality traits are caring, I'm very compassionate and love making people feel comfortable. What attracted me to be a caregiver was my grandma and my passion for taking care of people. My grandma was my best friend and she was the best nurse around. The smiles you see on your clients faces are the absolute best. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is caring for the person. I really love knowing that I take care of the person fully and that makes me happy. I spent 11 years in the military in which I was honorably discharged at the end of 2012. I completed and received an associate degree in art while serving. I continued my education while being unemployed from the time I was released from the military until April of 2013 and earned a bachelor degree in psychology. A week later I began practical nursing school and graduated top of my class a year later and was rewarded the leadership award. I passed my state board and earned my Practical Nursing license with an IV certification. I have since worked as an admission nurse, hospice nurse, agency nurse, floor nurse, managed a long term care facility, and was a day shift manager as well as a day shift unit supervisor. I recently completed my associate's degree in science in nursing and am waiting to sit for boards for my registered nursing license. I am looking to slowly transition from the facility setting into private duty helping people in their home setting.

My personality traits or expertise that help me be a great caregiver would include my genuine love for people and the fact that I have over 19 years of experience in the healthcare field. I am a certified nurse assistant and certified medication technician in the state of Missouri and have maintained my certifications for about 19 years. I also have several credits earned at Chamberlain Nursing School of Saint Louis. I have a Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration with the Emphasis of Leadership Management. I administer their medication where I have to count for narcotics at the beginning and end of my shifts. I have self-gratification each time that I am of aid to my patients and I feel very satisfied when I give care as well as having a smile on my face to cheer up my patients.
