I was attracted to being a caregiver because I wanted to be able to help people be able to do things they are unable to do without help . I just wanted to help them have the normal life they would have if they were able to do so .

I knew I wanted to take care of people when my grandpa was sick when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Visiting him in the nursing home and hospital pushing him around and making him smile was the best feeling ever. I decided to go to Lawrence County Vo-tech for my 11th and 12th grade year to become a CNA and started working my senior year in November 2008. In 2012 I left that job to go to the facility my grandma resided in until she was well enough to go home which was about 2.5 years, and continued to work until I moved in 2016 I currently am working for St. Barnabas now as a hospice aide part time. I recieved an award for employee of the month in August from them. Overall, I enjoy helping care for people, and make them feel good about themselves. A smile of appreciation in return is so rewarding.

I am a trustworthy, flexible, compassionate person. I am interested in helping others and always put others well being in front of mine. I have always wanted to do something in the medical field so that is why I am interested in working with the elderly. I have almost two years experience working as a Personal Care Aid.

I am a very caring and trustworthy person. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I learned that there are so many people out there that just need a helping hand. Someone who will help them and not judge. I love helping others with their ADL's and anything else they may need. My own personal achievement that I am proud of, I became a Certified Nursing assistant (CNA).

I have been in the Healthcare 15+ years. I take great pride in what I do. I recently worked at St. Johns in Mars for 7 years. I love working with the elderly, sick, dementia & all phases pertaining to health field. I have experience with dementia, ventilator patients, alzheimers etc..I get such joy helping & caring for all types of health related illnesses. I'm passionate in providing care for others. I have been a caregiver for the past 6 years, it is all I know! I work part time as a CNA at a retirement community. Caregiving gives me a sense of integrity and purpose that I wish to continue to pursue throughout my entire career.

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation. I have a huge heart and am very personable. I would love nothing more than to be your families caregiver.

I am currently a student in the nursing program at BC3. I am reliable, have my own transportation, and am qualified to give the care that you are looking for. I am CPR/BLS certified, and have also taken courses for feeding and basic activities of daily living. I would be able to do an overnight shift of the weekends, as well as evening shifts throughout the week.
