I'm passionate in providing care for others. I have been a caregiver for the past 6 years, it is all I know! I work part time as a CNA at a retirement community. Caregiving gives me a sense of integrity and purpose that I wish to continue to pursue throughout my entire career.

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation. I have a huge heart and am very personable. I would love nothing more than to be your families caregiver.

I am currently a student in the nursing program at BC3. I am reliable, have my own transportation, and am qualified to give the care that you are looking for. I am CPR/BLS certified, and have also taken courses for feeding and basic activities of daily living. I would be able to do an overnight shift of the weekends, as well as evening shifts throughout the week.

My #1 goal in life to help other people, and to make their lives better & easier. At the nursing home i currently work at, its easy for me to build relationships with the residents and try to make their day worth what they pay for. BIO Hi I'm Antoinette!! I'm a nursing assistant at upmc northwest and Ive been there for 6 years. I've worked in several departments helping. I'm also a private home health assistant and at the moment I take care of another couple in the morning hours 5 days a week. CPR certified yes I am :) I love helping and caring for others. I'm very out-going, patient, persistent, caring, genuine and I love to make others smile. I enjoy socializing and getting to know everyone. It's not just a job to me it's a part of my life I enjoy doing because your helping someone and knowing that person can trust and depend on you means all the world.

I become a caregiver in order to be in solidarity with those who cannot do by themselves by assisting them with the daily activities such as bathing,grooming,dressing,feeding,mobilityaand transportation. What l like about being a caregiver is that it's a humbling job keeping in mind that what l do for others one day one time it will be done to me .It is an educational job that l have to do for somebody what l would like to be done to me.It is a rewarding job.
