I am Tenjin Tamang from Nepal with a calming, positive influence. I have 9 years of caregiving experience. I have completed 2 years of Hotel management at Siddhartha Vanasthali institute 2012. While i was in collage, i lived with my grandmother and took care of her, which made me became caregiver. If I have any kind of developmental disability or I have become aged, weak or sick and need support, what sort of person would I like to take care of me? That is the kind of person I am. I have a lot of compassion and Love to offer. I'm patient and kind; I would do anything to make sure that the person I'm taking care of is comfortable and happy. I will make sure that they never lack what they need from me as their CNA. I believe in following rules and regulations that are laid out for me without any fail. I always admit when I'm wrong and I will always be accountable for it. I'm a caregiver.

I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait and here in the states. I have learned to be patient, compassionate, thorough, very dependable, trustworthy, honest and attentive. I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Zoey is twelve and Makenna is ten. What makes you a great caregiver? I genuinely care about other people regardless differences and challenging characteristics; I don’t judge people and give them their privacy as well as take care of them with the best care and to their liking and comfort needs. I make sure things are done right and don’t take shortcuts, I’m honest, loyal, and compassionate towards other people. Why did you become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I realized I listened to peoples needs and wanted to help improve the quality of their lives. I’m good at taking orders and encouraging people to do their best, to bring the best in them out. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy when someone is content with the quality care I provide them. I enjoy taking people’s health into my hands and being successful, by keeping them at their optimal health. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I am proud to have become a well-informed healthcare professional that knows how to care for any individual with any kind of condition due to all my experience and skills obtained from training.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am compassionate and empathize with my clients. I am there to help them, YES but I want them to feel that I care about them and will be there when they need me. I became a caregiver and chose this path for myself because I know what it feels like to have no one beside me and also does my grandmother and that's why I have been by her side . Its something about putting a smile on another persons face or picking them up when they aren't feeling so well, gives me a certain type of strength and confidence knowing that I can do that for a person that needs it the most. I also take my work very seriously and I am a very reliable and flexible.

I was a caregiver for 6 months after I separated from the navy. I worked with 3 very kind ladies in a house. One of the things that enjoyed the most was really feeling like I was continually improving the quality of their lives. There so much that needed to be done that the 12-hour shift just flew by. I take the time to learn clients' personalities and reciprocate what I believe they are looking for. I'm very big on clarification and communication. One of my clients had early onset dementia that was very advanced, one little to no speech, and one was completely wheelchair bound. Despite this these ladies were a pleasure to work with and I effortlessly treated them with the utmost respect & empathy. It was a pleasure to work with these ladies and I diffidently appreciated how excited they would get when I walked through the door. Looking to get back into a career path that allows me to be fulfilled as well as isn't continuous high stress.

I believe am a good caregiver with my empathy and compassion. By showing both empathy and compassion makes me feel the person am caring for know that i care about and want to do what i can to help them. I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I assisted with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining adequate groceries in the house through the family. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and assisted with exercise programs. I enjoy working with Seniors so that they can live in their homes as long as possible and so that their family members can have peace of mind. I enjoy finding ways to make life easier for someone to live in their home. I am patient and an out of the box thinker.
