My name is Kathleen and I have been caring for infants and adults for over 10 years. After graduating High School, my grandmother became ill and needed a full time caregiver. I wasn't sure how I would do but it didn't take long to realize I enjoyed taking care of others. Soon after my children were born I began working at a daycare, so that I would be able to take my children with me to work. I enjoyed taking care of infants and toddlers, but as my children got older and started school full time I decided to apply at an assisted living facility. After working there about 6 months I decided this would be my career path. I took an accredited course to become a certified nurses aide and began working at a skilled nursing facility. I have heard so many memories and stories from my sweet residents, and the joy on their faces make me feel like I am making a difference.

I can help relive the old days I live working with the elderly because I love to hear the stories back when they were little and young. I become a caregiver/cna because I know how hard their family member work. I'm proud of myself because I know leaving I did the best to understand my client and left them with a smile in there face when I leave and how happy they get when they see me the morning as soon I step in their house

Caregiving made an impact in my life when my Uncle and Great Grandmother needed help in the last phase of their life. Both at different times came to stay at my home as I tended to their daily needs until passed. Seeing the happiness a little help from a smiling face brought them is something that brings tears to my eyes to this very day. I am a mother to a 5 year old special needs daughter as well. Her daily needs must be met in a more specific way than others. From a very young age caring for those around me has always been a part of my life, and I'd like to make a difference in your daily life as well.

I love seeing smiles on people's faces.If someone is need of help I like to be the one to help them to assure they are happy and ok.I love cooking and cleaning as well as making sure every nutrition is taken in.I like to motivate people the best I can to let them know there potential and what they are capable of. The thing that attracted me to be a caregiver is being able to help someone who has helped someone there whole life and is now struggling to do it now .To be able to put a smile on someone's face and know they are taken care of. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping people.I love making sure that my resident is safe and comfortable as well as well taken care of.I also enjoy hearing some of there life stories what they used to do and motivate them to still do some of it . I am proud of being able to help others

I honestly went right in to provider as a young 19 yr girl. This is my calling always will be to make someones day with just a simple gesture or a smile. I think what attracted me as young girl that cared totally 100 percent was just living the life I had and pushed myself to be a bigger and better person,I lived with my grandmother and then she lived in the nursing home and I would always go and be with her and the residents. I appreciated my life by viewing what others lived...Sometimes not so fortunate. Will I enjoy being a care taker to brighten someones day with a act kindness and just being myself...knowing I made a difference in someones Day. My personal acheivment I Made was always knowing that everyone knew that I worked with. I love helping and caring for people

My best personality traits are that I'm very communicative and I listen very well. I like to make people laugh and feel comfortable. What attracted me to be a caregiver is I can give all my undivided attention to one person and it makes me feel good that I can make a person day by being there to help them around there own home. I personally feel proud of myself for making people feel comfortable with what I do and don't have to worry if there family member is being well taken care of because i personally think I'm a great caregiver

The person i was a gaver to with a old male and he couldnt move his right side of his body. i brush his teeth cook gave him meds. gave him baths helped work out the side he couldn't use cloth him changed diper's i even helped him renew his visa to stay here. i love hleping someone I'm proud of the little things i did do help that mad a bit change in someomes life. i would love to work angain ive also done office work if there is some i can do there.
