I'm very reliable and I'm a great help and I'm willing to give a helping hand. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to help out my grandmother and helping her out with tasks that she needs assistants with and just being there. I love helping out my grandmother a lot and being a helping hand for her when she needs it and I also enjoy the time I get to spend with her. I was eleven yrs old and my grandfather was diagnose with colon cancer. I would spend my summers helping my grandmother care for my grandfather. We did it all, transfers, bathing, changing, distributing of medication and even cleaning of the colostomy bags. Even though some of the care was a little in tense, I recevied joy just knowing I was contributing to his well being. Lets be honest we all have to go down that road one day and I just want the same respect dignity and care that I provide. That was when i decided to be a caregiver.
