What makes me feel great about being a caregiver is that the client is loyal,and always happy. I am tolerant,patient,humble,able to work with tough clients.I also treat the client like if he or she was like my family.I don't take anything personal.I love my job and I'm patience I'm always nice and courteous I always put their needs first before mine.

I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. I enjoy the career of care-giving because it truly is a career that is far reaching and meaningful beyond my imagination.

I can speak both English and Chinese. I am a senior caregiver with CPR and live scan. I have the California Home Care Aid Registry. I have TB test and the flu shot in October. I had full vaccinated for COVID-19. I am super patient and caring . I think I have the gift of taking care of others. I have compassion on my work, I can put smiles on my clients' face.I am a good listener. I treat my clients as my own families with a loving heart.I feel proud of my job ,because I bring peace and love to them. I experienced; Alzheimer's,dementia,MSA and hospice care. I also experienced G-tube,suction machine, hoyer lift and catheter. I gave my clients not only life assistance but also loving.And I got love from them,too. So I enjoy this job--being a senior caregiver.And I am proud of it.

Ever since I was a little kid, I love to help people. I took Medical School, but I couldn't finish it, because of our financial situation. It started when my Dad, who was my HERO, got a stroke in 1987. Me, my Mom and my sister took care of him until he passed away. As a care giver, I always treat all my clients as my own parents and grandparents. I don't want them to be treated badly. I want them to be treated with love. Being a care giver, I learned a lot from my clients too. I really enjoy all their stories. What makes me a great care giver is that I always treat my clients with love and patient, which I know I would like to be treated. And always give all of their needs.

We've been working as a caregiver for almost 17 years we worked with developmental disabled patients, in a facility and board & care set up, and quadreplegic patients , We enjoy taking care of elderly people as well as making a difference in their lives, I make sure that I give the quality of care my client deserve. Caregiver, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) I started working as caregiver since I was 13 in 1976 when my step great, great grandmother was very sick and moved in to our house bedridden-patient. I did everything for her: feeding, cleaning up all kinds of messes, bed baths, sponge baths, undressing, dressing, grooming, transfers with assistance since she's very overweight, showing kindness, patience, empathy, compassion, genuine love and care, respect and dignity. Then, I was taking care of my grandparents; then, my father who was diagnosed with CML until he died on 2002; I was taking care some relatives and friends. I worked with people with medical issues: blood pressure problems, endocrine disorders, diabetics, stroke sufferers, different types of cancer, brain disorders, mental disorders, Alzheimer's and different types of Dementia, Parkinson's, ALS, MS, and more. Since I arrived here in US in 2007, I worked in six-beds board and care, Memory Care facilities and Assisted Living facilities, Skilled Nurse Facility as certified nurse assistant; I did caregiving in private homes, in-home cares (IHSS), housekeeping, laundry, range of motions physical exercises, and more. Also, my Mother-in-Law suffered with Parkinson's Disease. I was taking care of her since 2016 until she died on October 25, 2019.
