I have been in the medical field for about 28 years. Started doing caregiving 10 years ago. I started with helping family members and eventually worked for companies, such as Comfort Keepers, Visiting Angels and 24 Hour Home Care. In doing this line of work, you learn a lot about the person you are caring for, tho you can have experience, you are constantly learning, no two people are the same. I love helping others, I'm caring and compassionate, and show them love and dignity, treating them as if they were my family, that is important. I have trained other caregivers, in the companies I worked for, and always told them, you have to have heart. If you don't, you are in the wrong field. You must show care as if they are your grandparents or parents. There is no better life than helping another in need. I look forward to every chance I have to do so. I'm quiet and clean, but will also joke and make them laugh, once we get to know each other. It is just my personality. I will respect your home, and your things, and take care of them as well as provide light house chores to help you out around the home. In the end, we are here to help one another, and if I can have the opportunity to do this forever, I will.

My name is Mary I have been hospice aid for about 12 years now , I love the occupation, my goal as a caregiver is making my pts feel loved and cared about, I want them to be as comfortable as possible , it Brings joy to my eyes when I see my patients happy, as I know I am doing my job! I start being a caregiver in 1992 with kids who had special needs, Down the road I start helping my brother in laws and I knew it from that moment That's what I wanted to do. over the years I had care for people with Alzheimer, dementia,bedridden, paralyzed, ambulatory,and no ambulatory Hospice, wheelchair, diabetic . I really enjoy being a caregiver and learn from them, being a caregiver is in awesome job because make you feel great when you finish you day ,and knowing the they are happy when I help them ,it make me proud of myself......

What makes me a good caregiver? Is that I have EMS training ,and crisis as well. I have experience in several settings and will work with your loved one on being independent in her/his home. I also love to cook especially being raised in an Italian home

I feel most fulfilled while caring for those in need. I've been in healthcare for most of my life and I would not want it any other way. Being organized, compassionate and personable allows me to provide the best care for my patients.

I believe that empathy and compassion for others, being the essence of my personality, made me opt for a career in caregiving. Being able to manage and deal with individuals of various different disabilities and understanding that every individual requires separate attention with distinctively varying needs, I have learned to professionally carry out my responsibilities. Remarkably monitoring residents/individuals/patients for changes in condition and reporting in time to the respective management, Being eager to learn more in this field and complementing my passion in caregiving and relevant experience. What I like most about being a caregiver is the patience and communication you develop with the patients. It's all about giving them the love and care that they need.
