My name is Tammie i want to be the person who put a smile on your family members face knowing that he /she is being takeing care of very well I want to be that one that makes them feel the best that I can to feel good every day. That alone made me happy to go to work every day. I have been in the care giving business for over ten years. I am very dependable, a team player, self-motivated, loyal, a quick learner, honest, organized and I am very dedicated to what my patient and family needs and wants. I don't look at this as a job I take caring for my patients as a passion. I enjoy what I do and I am thankful every day for the opportunity to provide this kind of care to someone's loved one who struggles to care for them self. I look forward to building my trust with a special family so that they can kind of get a break and free time knowing there family member is in great hands. That is a daily motivated goal for me. I became a caregiver because of my Mother she had became ill and I wanted to care for her but because I was not experienced in the health field she wanted some one who was in the health care field, so she had to go to the hospital and when I went to visit her I seen that she was in pain and uncomfortable in the hospital bed, and I tried to help her but did not know how too, and that made me very angry, so I decided to take a class in nursing Assistant and Home Health, but by the time I was finished with the course my Mother passed away. which helped me to see that their are others that need help in their homes and in nursing homes and I wanted do it for my mother to care to those in need and, I love caring for others, and I know my Mother is smiling down on me every time I make a difference in helping someone to live their life as much as possible. My greatest achievement is when making life better for others, like I met a lady who had had a stroke and her husband was caring for her and she was having problems with her hands stiffening up so I made her a home made device to help her be able to open and close her hand for exercise, so she could regain her strength in her hands and move her fingers. It was just rolled up towels but it helped her and made a difference and she was so pleased and so was I.

My name is Mary I have been hospice aid for about 12 years now , I love the occupation, my goal as a caregiver is making my pts feel loved and cared about, I want them to be as comfortable as possible , it Brings joy to my eyes when I see my patients happy, as I know I am doing my job! I am a people's person I love communicating with everyone. I have always been a companion for anyone that I have worked for. What makes me great is because when my mom and nephew got sick I stepped up and became their caregiver. Both of my family members had great illnesses and needed to be tended to 24hrs. That's what made me become interested in this career knowing I could help make a change in people's lives. The best part is knowing that your patients let u know that u are a good asset to them and it let's u know that u have accomplished what u have set out to do.

I tried becoming a Caregiver in my mid twenties, about thirteen years ago. I enjoyed helping those in need an being a part of something special. I was a caregiver for 11 years. I wanted to be more, so I took a class an became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2016. I worked at a rehabilitation facility for 15 months as a CNA. I then took another class to become a Certified Home Health Aide in March 2018. Being able to help those in need has always been a joy, an I've been proud of how many I helped along my journey. im very easy going,parsent with my seniors,love to cook their meals so they get a good meal,take them to the doctors apts.,other errands,enjoy there company,make them feel better about their selfs,give guideness when they need it,over all just love to work with seniors and listen to them when they want to talk,it has always been my gift,im a very neet person like to clean up the house,dishes,vaccon up,make doctors apts,make sure they take the meds on time,im a very honest person and love to work.started out with my family menbers,friends,it gave me joy,takening care of others.
