Hi Everyone, my name is randnesha skinner,I like to be called nesha for short.I have a certificate as a Pca,Home care aid and also Certified Nurse assistant.I graduated last year with and Associates in science degree.have been in the healthcare field for over 10yrs and I love it.Im proud to be one of many to help the elderly with achieving their goals and daily living activities.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I have been in the health field since 2009. I love being in the medical field. I love being able to support someone in need and being able to care for some one in need. I started off as a personal assistant. I went to school for Medical Assistant. Looking to go to school for my LPN this fall. I'm a CNA and I'm Also A PCA. Something that amazes me most about this field are the different lives I'm in. I'm proud of what I do and I make sure my elderly people are fully tooken care of. I'm the reason for many smiles.

I became a care giver to help others that are not able to help their selves, My daughter passed away in 2008 and I saw how the nursing staff made her so comfortable that I wanted to give that comfort back to some one else, what I enjoy about the care giver position, is that the joy you see on the faces of people who really appreciate your kindness. My most personal achievement that I am proud of is going back to school for my cna certification. I have experienced loss of a child, and still I am able to stand strong. I have a second child who is a honor student in her middle school, I feel that was quit an achievement on my part also. I have been in this profession for about two years working in different nursing home facilities but I feel one on one care would be a better fit for myself, I attended Boces technical career school in the year of 2012, Once finished the cna course of three months I started working for Ten Brock Commons in lake katrine Ny. From there I was hired at Golden Hill Nursing Home facility. Trying to find my fit in the facility industry that I also worked in the FernCliff Nursing Home also. I find myself at this point wanting to give private care a try.

A great care giver is someone who likes, respects and cares for others. I have done eldercare for almost all my life. I have been involved with the same family for about 10. I got involved in this care as a child. I had an elderly grammother who lived in the same home as me growing up. I would help take care of her doing little things such as foot rubs and watching Lawarence Welk. I have been a CNA for the Good Samaritin Home in Delmar, but that was 20 yrs ago. I stopped to have my baby but hes now in his last year of HVCC.

I became a caregiver because i love helping people and seeing people smile. I love my job for one reason only my residents. They make my day if even if i am having a bad. Seeing them happy because i helped them out with their ADL's. My personal achievement is actual being a cna and being a mom all at one time. I personally will do the best i can to help someone who needs help.

I became a caregiver because I love people and I feel people should have the best quality of life in there time of need. I love to help people learn new ways of taking care of themselves so they can have the best quality of life during there illness. I love the smiles I get when I arrive to start my job , I teach and clients teach me its a fabulous feeling. I made one fabulous achievement about a year ago and I will never forget it. I started to take care of a client when the client had one amputation , it was sad but we continued to do lots of stuff I had to give encouragement everyday , Then one day the client had to have the other leg removed. At this time the client was so depressed everyday was a struggle but I told the client we can still do what we did before its just going to take a little longer the clients response was," I want to go to Kohl's shopping". I said okay we can do that let me plan it out. Guess what the client went shopping at Kohl's and went to lunch, Where there is a will there is a way. I will never forget that one month later the client passed a way but the client got the shopping trip that was thought to never happen. People told me that I would not be able to do this with this client when I did they said I was one of a kind. I said no I am not I accomplished another good deed for a wonderful person. I have worked as a nursing assistant for 15 years. I have worked for nursing homes , Hospice , and acute care for Margaretville Hospital. I am CPR cert
