Hi there. I just wanted to reach out and give you somewhat of an understanding of the care i provide. I have over 12 years of experience. The most important thing I came to understand in my years in this field, that most home health companies are quick to hire just about anyone regardless of passion for the job. My patients I had would get so angry because it was never the same person and it made them uncomfortable. So i decided to take the necessary steps to work for myself so that i can hire and train the best and ensure that i am always providing the type of care we would want for our own family. What makes me a great caregiver is a few things 1) This is a true calling that I am gifted with. I am a great listener and patient with people in general. I spent time as a young girl around my Grandmother which taught me a lot. I was well trained in companionship and wasn't even aware. I have plenty of experience from my past. The rest just came natural. What i like most about being a caregiver is helping those that can't help themselves. This field has given me a sense of purpose. One thing that i am most proud to say is that I am current with my CPR and First aid training, as well as fully vaccinated. Not because my job requires it but because I want to be safe and keep the ones I care for safe in every way.
