Hi there. I just wanted to reach out and give you somewhat of an understanding of the care i provide. I have over 12 years of experience. The most important thing I came to understand in my years in this field, that most home health companies are quick to hire just about anyone regardless of passion for the job. My patients I had would get so angry because it was never the same person and it made them uncomfortable. So i decided to take the necessary steps to work for myself so that i can hire and train the best and ensure that i am always providing the type of care we would want for our own family. I am a mom of 3 beautiful girls. I am engaged and hopefully to be married soon since covid stopped our plans. I look forward too meeting you!

What makes me a great caregiver is a few things 1) This is a true calling that I am gifted with. I am a great listener and patient with people in general. I spent time as a young girl around my Grandmother which taught me a lot. I was well trained in companionship and wasn't even aware. I have plenty of experience from my past. The rest just came natural. What i like most about being a caregiver is helping those that can't help themselves. This field has given me a sense of purpose. One thing that i am most proud to say is that I am current with my CPR and First aid training, as well as fully vaccinated. Not because my job requires it but because I want to be safe and keep the ones I care for safe in every way.

I have a personality that can, and will adapt to so far, anyone that I've worked with. I absolutely love and take pride in my career. There's such a huge need for caregivers and DSP's and the way I look at it, the generation that we're caring for are the ones that took care of us. So, yes, I treat them with respect and give them the care they need.

Traits that make me a great caregiver would be that I have a huge heart an will help anyone I possibly can. The thing that made me want to be a caregiver is I have always wanted to help others. I look at clients I care for like family an I wouldn't want my family not well taken care of . I first got into the healthcare field to help those who didn't have family close by to help them but stayed around for anyone who needed a hand. Am a very happy person, so I always make sure my clients are happy. I joke around with them, and do funny dance. It's my way of showing them love and care, No matter how their situation is. I became a caregiver to make a difference in people's life. Cause I believe it's a blessing to care for people who need help in anyways that you can, either with money or with love. since I don't have the money to do so, I chose to make a difference in peoples lives with the only thing I have a lot to give, which is LOVE. I enjoy seeing my clients being clean, happy and loved. My achievements was working with a lady who fell into depression following the death of her only remaining son, who had some type of rare cancer, but didn't think he was going to die,while she was also in the hospital recovering from hip replacement.I walked into her and her grandchildren's life Three weeks after the son's death. I was assigned to work with her to recuperate from her surgery, but I ended up being like a therapist to the family. And thanks be to God, her depression, was very well controlled with medication, and We became very good friends. So to me I think, that's was my greatest achievement And am always grateful and proud of that .

I worked as a caregiver for individuals with special needs throughout my college years and more recently as a hospice caregiver for my grandfather and taking care of my grandmother with dementia. I really enjoy making connections with the people and feel that I bring a lot of myself and my heart to my work. Additionally I am a certified yoga instructor so I have some idea of biomechanics and speak both English and Spanish, to be able to interact with a wide range of folks.
