I am honest, hardworking, experience, passionate, driven, dependable, highly organized and constantly set goals for myself. I am able to handle multitask. What attracted me to become a caregiver, i love making a difference in a family and their love ones life. I also love making a difference in a clients daily routine to wish the family could be at ease. It's very rewarding field where getting to meet all different kind of personalities.

What makes me a great caregiver is my organization and ablity to multitask, I'm a reliable person. I enjoy people and treat people with respect. I've been a caregiver for 30+ years the reason I became a caregiver is, it's given is the ability to help other people, live the best posible life they can live. What I enjoy the most is watching people smile and heal. The thing I'm most proud of is raising my 4 children to be healthy young men.

Over 20 yrs experience caring for people of all ages and abilities. 5+ yrs as a CNA in PDX first working in a small facility for people w/ HIV/AIDS then onto temping at LTC Facilities all over PDX. 18 years working for UCP, OR w/ adults w/ CP & intellectual disabilities. 5+ yrs as an "Enhanced Worker" HCW doing in-home care for Aging & Disability Services. Now certified in WA as a HCA to work in-homes. Additional interests & education include: Cosmetology, Naturopathic Assistant & Juice Bar Manager. Study Yoga, Tai Chi Chuan & Meditation. Some massage school experience too. Strong interest in Nutrition and Whole Foods Cooking & Herbs. I believe we are here to help and learn from one another and I chose caregiving because it allows me to really thrive while hopefully uplifting or at least easing the lives of those I work with.

I am a 35 year old single mother of two with an active CNA license. I've been out of work since January of 2022 due to the COVID pandemic. However, I was blessed with the gift of caring for others so my skills never fade away. Currently working on energy healing! I'm a Certified Reiki practitioner and I will be going to school for massage therapy soon!

Empathy and Compassion and patience by shown those three things I let the person that I care about them ...and I can do anything to make them happy. I was taking care of my mom for about eleven years until last year, because she was ill......So I always want help elderly I feel like my mom & I treat them like my my on mom. I enjoy when they are smiling and by doing little make a person's day a better It make me happy. I achieved when I take care of my client for five years from doing OK to hospice care ...until her end day we were like mother and daughter and she was always proud of me how I take care my mom and her between ,also with two little children and going to school for Medical assistant . When I graduated she was so happy.

CNA certified. I find great fulfillment in my job as a caregiver. It gives me the opportunity to practise my professional skills as I assist the elderly (and others) in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Most importantly, it always provides a chance for me to keep learning as I strive to meet the needs of each client according to their Careplan.

When I was in Nursing School I learned how to help people who needed help mentally, physically, socially. I love what I do. Helping someone is the greatest feeling. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I really feel that when you give back good things always happen. Every person should help the next. Pass it along!

Hello my name is Sydney and thank you for considering me to be apart of your family and team! I have been an Acute Certified Nursing Assistant for 7 years and rolling. I have worked in over 30+ nursing homes and hospitals around Oregon, Washington and Idaho as a travel CNA and about 3 years working for Hospice. I love being an in-home CNA because that's where I get to see my patients feel happy and safe. I know that can sometimes it can feel impossible without the help of someone like me to keep your loved ones at home! I specialize in bathing, toileting, all personal cares, wound care and I have the training and experience to help those with a variety of illnesses (Dementia, Parkinson's, Strokes, etc) I have decided to make the switch to private caregiving because I am starting to take online classes for the nursing program, which is hard to do working a classic 9-5! So I might be doing homework while your mom or dad snoozes! I am an excellent communicator, educator and person. I take what I do very seriously and have a huge heart for my elders! On my off time I play violin, hike/camp and snuggle with my cat Winston!

I've tried many different jobs through out my life and have found the most satisfaction in caring for others. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. I'm a single mom of an 11 year old boy. I've been a CNA since 2001. I've gone to school at PCC, specializing in gerontology, end of life care, and dementia. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in home.
