Hi I'm Cassidy! I fell in love with being a caregiver at my first job after graduating high school in 2016 working for a personal care home where I gained experience in many areas. Such as, dementia, diabetes, alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and many more. After a year and a half of working at this home, I was promoted to supervisor and was trained to be a medication administrator. To me, a great caregiver has a big heart, is compassionate, patient and understanding and I think that's what makes me great at what I do.

What makes me a great caregiver is my organization and ablity to multitask, I'm a reliable person. I enjoy people and treat people with respect. I've been a caregiver for 30+ years the reason I became a caregiver is, it's given is the ability to help other people, live the best posible life they can live. What I enjoy the most is watching people smile and heal. The thing I'm most proud of is raising my 4 children to be healthy young men.

I am a caring, loving, dependable and trustworthy person who has had a heart for the elderly, since I was a little girl. I have always enjoyed the company of the elderly because I love to hear stories of the past. My desire is to bring happiness, laughter and joy to those who are sick and need help. I am willing to accompany your love ones on trips, I'm willing to travel with your love as well as do overnight vacations.

I am an energetic, kind, and compassionate person who has dedicated the last 12 years to helping seniors age in place. Although my bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona is in Nursing/Biology, I pursued other career opportunities for much of my professional life. I returned to hands-on care 12 years ago because of the deep satisfaction I feel when I help a family honor their loved one's decision to remain at home, living as independently as possible. I am highly organized and I excel at coordinating all aspects of care, which enables family members to attend to their careers and commitments. I have experience as a Care Manager, hiring, training, and managing a caregiving team for a family that needed 24 hour care for their father. I believe that it is everyone's right to age with dignity and that life experience should be respected and cherished. Whether you have need for advanced skills or you are looking for warm, mindful companionship for your loved one, I look forward to working with you.

I have earned the Basic Activity Director Certificate, an Introduction to Guardianship Certificate, as well as completed Hospice Basic Training I & II. I am certified in American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED and I have an Oregon Food Handlers certificate. I can help with domestic duties including light cleaning, laundry, meal planning/prep, assist with appointment scheduling, transportation, shopping, and running errands. I can assist with bathing, offer companionship throughout the day, can engage individuals in meaningful conversations and activities based on their interests whether in-home or out in the community. I am willing to assist with specialty projects, home organizing, light gardening, and event planning. I am experienced in patiently instructing older adults how to use technology. Hello , My Name is , Mar'Nisha I am a 28 year old mother & college student currently enrolled for nursing . I enjoy helping others taking that my close friend since child hood was in a tragic accident in the year of 2017 which caused her to be paralyzed. Taken that situation it made me want to be dedicated to those who can no longer do for themselves, those who no longer feel important or happy ! I love to make them feel loved and appreciated for them to understand that they still MATTER & are just still alive and important by all aspects in life ! Since than I've worked in home care as well as facilities. With those who have all different type of illnesses. I feel the number one most important part of it all is to have patients & communicating on a level on kindness and compassion . I've been working in this field for about 6/7 years now & I wanna become a nurse for the reasonings of seeing a smile on someone who feels helpless face see them alive again and just at peace with who they are .

Over 20 yrs experience caring for people of all ages and abilities. 5+ yrs as a CNA in PDX first working in a small facility for people w/ HIV/AIDS then onto temping at LTC Facilities all over PDX. 18 years working for UCP, OR w/ adults w/ CP & intellectual disabilities. 5+ yrs as an "Enhanced Worker" HCW doing in-home care for Aging & Disability Services. Now certified in WA as a HCA to work in-homes. Additional interests & education include: Cosmetology, Naturopathic Assistant & Juice Bar Manager. Study Yoga, Tai Chi Chuan & Meditation. Some massage school experience too. Strong interest in Nutrition and Whole Foods Cooking & Herbs. I believe we are here to help and learn from one another and I chose caregiving because it allows me to really thrive while hopefully uplifting or at least easing the lives of those I work with.

I am honest, hardworking, experience, passionate, driven, dependable, highly organized and constantly set goals for myself. I am able to handle multitask. What attracted me to become a caregiver, i love making a difference in a family and their love ones life. I also love making a difference in a clients daily routine to wish the family could be at ease. It's very rewarding field where getting to meet all different kind of personalities.
