I chose caregiving base on my personality type. I am passionate, caring, honest, trustworthy, and like helping people. My ground mother was one reason why i became a caregiver. There was a time when she could not help herself i was there to help her till she pass on. She had told me that i could be a good caregiver or nurse and when i did chose this career i am enjoining every part of it. I have worked as a caregiver for four to five years and i have had any problem because i see those patient as my families. Furthermore, Honesty is one key that is driving me. I love what am doing and i love my job as a caregiver.

What makes me an amazing caregiver is my ability to show empathy, compassion, love, and willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure my client is taken care of like they are my own family! I have seen the consequences of people not taking pride in this line of work and it really makes me work harder to give my residence the care that I one day hope to receive. I will always go the extra mile even on a hard day. I think what attracted me most to being in this line of work is my ability to make a difference in the lives that I touch each day! My favorite part of this job is coming in and getting to know my clients. Their likes, dislikes, favorite food, activities, their families, I love learning about what makes them who they are! With that being said, it is not only a great way to exercise companionship, but also allows me to have a better understanding of their behaviors and how to help them cope if one has been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's! At the end of the day, as much as we may want to, we cannot always be with our loved ones which is why it is so important to find care that treats them as their own! If I am able to make someone's time with me a little brighter with a smile, or their favorite meal, or even with a fun activity than I can rest a little easier at night knowing I am making a special impact on the ones we love and adore most!!

Hello, my name is Tiffany. I am currently looking for a home health job as a CNA. I have over nine years of experience as a CNA and over four years as a CMA. My CMA is currently expired but I am in the process of renewing it.I am BLS and CPR certified through the American Red Cross. In addition to my CNA license, I also have my EKG certification. I have been with my current employer, an acute psychiatric and chemical dependency facility, for 2 years. During this time I have obtained certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention and Prevention as well as Handle with Care. I have experience providing care for clients ages 5 years through late adulthood. I am currently pursuing a BSN degree to become a Registered Nurse. My availability is open Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. My schedule is flexible right now as I am currently working prn (as needed) at my current employer. I love that I have the compassion to care for others when they need it. I love to be able to help. ever since I was young all I wanted to do is be there for others who don't have anyone or simply just need a extra hand in need. What I enjoy most is being able to make a difference in someone's life even if it's the smallest things. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I like helping people that are not able to help themselves.
