I am 54 years old and will be married for 18 years on May 26th. I am mother of 2 boys and 1 girl. I have two grandchildren; one boy whose 4 years old and a granddaughter who is 3 years old. I've work most of my life in the office environment since graduating high school. I recently transitioned to caregiving for seniors a couple of years ago and I love it. I love working with seniors because they have so much insight on this journey called life. I've learned so much about patience and kindness from them. I've also learned how important it is to listen. They're just really cool individuals who wants love and affection. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day a little better. I hope that when I get older, someone like myself will be there to help me if I need help.

Caregiving is an extremely rewarding path for myself. It's hard to find another job that allows you to make as large of an impact on other people's lives. While many of my tasks are similar things I do for myself at home, my work makes a huge difference to the people I care for. I do necessary things for people who now find those tasks difficult or impossible. With caregiving, my work makes a tangible difference in someone's life. I find caregiving to be a very fulfilling opportunity. Being a caregiver is deeply rewarding to me because it offers a profound sense of purpose, build meaningful relationships, and provide essential support. It combines personal fulfillment with the emotional satisfaction of helping others age with dignity. I am proud to be a caregiver to those in need of care. I am CPR certified through red cross. Im also a certified PCA (personal care aide). I plan on going back to school to become an RN. Right now i take care of a 97 year old women on thursday, friday, saturday and every other sunday who is pretty healthy she just cant walk so shes either in bed or wheelchair. I have experience changing diapers, hower lift, repositioning, bed bath, medication reminder, helping someone who can somewhat walk use the bathroom and shower. I know how to cook and im 25 so im pretty active. Im available monday, tuesday and wednesday to work. My grandmother had Alzheimer's and I lived with her for 4 years so I have experience. My mother died from colon cancer so I know a lot about cancer first hand from my personal experience with my mother. I feel as though my mother did not get the help she needed just from being in a hospital all the time and when I look back I feel as though if she had that one on one help with someone to really care and take there time with her she would have lived longer which is why I like doing in home caregiving. My sister has muscular dystrophy so she's paralyzed from the chest down so I have experience with that. I have a 3 year old son named Charles and he is my world. I am a very patient and understanding person. My heart goes out to people and it's something that I've never been able to change I'm just very good at putting myself in someone else's shoes. I am very reliable, committed and trustworthy. I'm eager to learn more and always try to do my best.
