I am CPR certified through red cross. Im also a certified PCA (personal care aide). I plan on going back to school to become an RN. Right now i take care of a 97 year old women on thursday, friday, saturday and every other sunday who is pretty healthy she just cant walk so shes either in bed or wheelchair. I have experience changing diapers, hower lift, repositioning, bed bath, medication reminder, helping someone who can somewhat walk use the bathroom and shower. I know how to cook and im 25 so im pretty active. Im available monday, tuesday and wednesday to work. My grandmother had Alzheimer's and I lived with her for 4 years so I have experience. My mother died from colon cancer so I know a lot about cancer first hand from my personal experience with my mother. I feel as though my mother did not get the help she needed just from being in a hospital all the time and when I look back I feel as though if she had that one on one help with someone to really care and take there time with her she would have lived longer which is why I like doing in home caregiving. My sister has muscular dystrophy so she's paralyzed from the chest down so I have experience with that. I have a 3 year old son named Charles and he is my world. I am a very patient and understanding person. My heart goes out to people and it's something that I've never been able to change I'm just very good at putting myself in someone else's shoes. I am very reliable, committed and trustworthy. I'm eager to learn more and always try to do my best.
