My name is Alma Salinas my primary language is Spanish and I enjoy taking care of people and their needs. Most of my life I have been taking care of children, adults, and even the elderly. I realized helping others makes me want to continue to Excell in my career practice on my English and provide promising results.

My personality traits helps me be a passionate caregiver because I'm loyal, kind, caring, humble and treat others with respect . I have been a caregiver/health care professional, helping others for 10 years. I'm a medical assistant and I am CPR certified. I came across this career path by taking care of my sick mother. I enjoy making others comfortable in any of their situations and caring for them and whatever they need to help them through their day. My Personal Achievement that I'm proud of is I am blessed to help and make a positive difference in other lives. Love what you do and happiness will follow. I was a caregiver/provider from January 2003 to August 2019. I completed a certified nurse assistant course in January 2003, as well as 12 hours continuing education yearly for 16 years.

In 2010 I began working as a caregiver, I became a Caregiver because I'm a very nurturing person at heart, and I find it very rewarding helping others in anyway I can; especially those in need. I like the position because I can cheer someone up if their sad or depressed, and or show them support all the time. I enjoy doing things for them such as light house work, cook their meals or just conversate with them for moral support. I feel it is very important to make someone feel at ease and to let them know that someone cares and shows interest in them, this can make a world of difference to someone who may not have family or friends to care for them. I'm proud of the fact that I paid off my 20 yr mortgage recently, that is my personal achievement.. I'm very proud to say that I have been married for 29 yrs and raised a very loving, caring, humble 20 yr old daughter. I am very responsible and make smart decisions in my personal life and in the work place. I have 3 dogs and one cat which I love and care for..

I consider myself a person with experience in caring for the sick and elderly, I had the privilege of caring for my mother and my husband in the terminal stage of their illnesses. I learned how to help them in a practical way and also developed qualities such as patience and compassion.
