I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. I have been a caregiver for well over 20 Plus years. I have love and compassion for the elderly. As a child I was always close to my grandmother, when I became an adult and she got up in age. I moved back from out of town, to take care of her until she died at age 102 on Christmas Day . After the passing of my grandmother I started working as a home health care provider and showing that same love and compassion I had for my grandmother to other elderly clients. In actuality i am a CNA but in my line of work i did cared and looked after individuals. And I became a CNA because i always loved helping people and i have dreams to become a Register Nurse and i know CNA will help me get there. I like working as CNA because it allows me to lend a hand to who is less fortunate. i also love taking care of people because at end of the day i get to see there family smile. I would say a personal achievement of mind would say passing my State Boards for CNA because the journey wasn't always easy. Something about me: well i am college student who is currently unemployed and who had just had a child lesser then a month ago so i'am really need a job . I am hard working and very easy to get along with i have a warm heart and do really love what i do.
