I'm very passionate about being a Caregiver. I never had the pleasure of meeting any of my grandparents so I have always wonder what it felt like. So being a Caregiver has introduced me to wonderful people. I have enjoyed baking cookies, listening to old love stories, as well as old war stories. I took an interest in the medical field at the age of 20 during my schooling for Cosmetology. I went on to school an earn an associate degree in medical science as a Medical Assistant. Have worked in many areas of HOME HEALTH CARE. I am well rounded in most areas. A passion an interest in the health of people who need at home care and can utilize my knowledge and skills. I know how important it is to be comfortable in the privacy of your own home. I have assisted and supported families with caring for their love ones. My personal achievement was my schooling to reach my career goals. I love the medical field its so rewarding when u can be there to help meet the medical needs and support of those who really need it. An my desire is to continue to aide those who need an can use my skills. I have upgraded my skills with online continuing education and recently received certification in the care of Alzheimer and Dementia clients.

What makes me a great caregiver my heart is about the client and they care and well bein and making sure they are cared for properly and have a companionship with there making it about them letting them know they are still loved and no matter what I'm there for any needs to be met by them I became a caregiver because I use to go to work with my mom and watch her care for her clients and I always told myself I wanted to be someone who could be there for someone who could not be there for themselves and I want them to know I'm there for them and they are like family to me in anyways to be I being doing this over 20 yrs I have well experience caring for patients in there homes in the assist facilities and nursing home home I even worked in group homes I know how to use the hoyer lift and transfers meal prep dealing with medication reminders and doing the medication ADL for the clients cooking, cleaning , grooming went to the Doctor appointments and having a companionship with them letting them know it's about them and not me because my duty is to make sure they are comfortable

Empathy, I strive to treat all my patients/clients the way I would like to be treated by others. I put the needs of my clients first and strive to meet their needs and put a smile on each of my clients face. I feel happy when my clients smile and are happy. I am very dependable, compassionate and dedicated to my work.

why i chose to become a caregiver is a thing that i love doing and is inline with my goal in life, been a caregiver helps, teaches and build you up in caring for people and even in home, my achievement is understanding how to communicate with people in need most especially with older adults. I am a simple and quite person that always smile and makes people feel comfortable with me, i may write full page talking the good part of me but I believe in action because action speaks louder than voice which means give me a try THANKS

I love taking care of seniors because I like to know about their past what exciting thing they did when they was younger than what they are now I love communicating with them I love cooking with them or for them being around seniors is the inspiration for me

I became a caregiver because, I like taking care of the elder as I use to do for my grandmother. As they grow older they are more cheerful and like someone to be around them. i have achieve a lot as a caregiver, making my residents warm, comfortable and happy. I am more concern about anyone I take care of as they need us most as ever.
