I'm friendly, nice and like to help people. I'm a very trustworthy and a passionate person. I also wanted a rewarding job, and caregiving is just that. I enjoy talking to and making people laugh. I was very friendly with all our residents at my previous job. I am proud to have four healthy grandchildren that I adore.

I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. I plan on caring compassionately for my patients and rendering help to those in need. The interpersonal relationships with the patients/family are the reason I am here. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I view myself as being caring, empathetic, compassionate, understanding, medically knowledgeable, and a reliable person. I believe time with nature, is its own medicine and that love can heal. I encourage the patient to be active in their care and maintain a positive outlook. I am detail-oriented, focused, dedicated, and eager to get to know you and the family! I am a full-time student, going back to finish my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have experience with altered mental status patients and do well in deescalating situations involving conflict. My personality traits I would have to say that I enjoy making people laugh. I'm just a big goof ball. I'm energetic, I have a gentle touch and a warm heart. I got attracted to being a caregiver was because the elders have great stories, it sometimes takes me back in time like I was in their era. I enjoy being a caregiver because I want to help others, I want to learn and grow from them, the elders are so wise. The personal achievement that I'm proud of was the day I passed my CNA State Exam. I became a caregiver when my grandmother needed someone to help her with household chores, errands, cooking, bathing, and help assist with going to the bathroom. After she passed away, I wanted to continue helping other people, and began working at an assisted living center for residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I love providing care, but also allowing them to still have their sense of independence. I am very passionate about giving people the quality of life, and I do whatever I can to maintain that. A personal achievement I am proud of is taking a leap and moving across the country by myself. I love to explore life, and find beauty in something everyday.

I am a great caregiver because I know what Genuine care means & how serious this field of work is to the clients first as well as for the families. I have worked in numerous fields of healthcare which shows why I have so much confidence, experience and passion for this field of work! I started out caretaking at the age of 15 to be able to help grandmother & provide support for others that need help. I do believe my heart keeps me in this line of work because of the compassion I have for helping others, having the skills & heart to provide companionship. I am a caring and compassionate person, I have worked with dementia for about a year now, and have fallen in love with it and in love with the people that I help. I have always enjoyed helping people and providing them with someone they can trust and depend on, and I love making a change in peoples lives. I enjoy spending time with them, getting to know them, even listening to the same story a thousand times and seeing them smile and light up when they talk about memories and see that someone is listening. I love providing them with care, compassion, dignity, respect, and love. My future goal is to become a nurse practitioner, and open my own facility that provides the type of care that meets my standards.

I'm a caring person with a big heart. Since I was 15 my goal was to become a nurse. I am currently in nursing school trying to make my dreams come true. I enjoy making a difference and making my clients smile. I also enjoy playing bingo with my clients. My personal achievement was working hard to get into the nursing program. I had so many people telling me I couldn't do it and here I am proving people wrong. I can't wait to walk across the stage and receive my bachelors in nursing and to make my family especially my kids proud of their mom.
