I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

I enjoy helping others. I am friendly yet professional, caring, honest, dependable, I have integrity. I believe that everyone deserves dignity in their care and I believe that family caregivers also need breaks. It doesn't make one weak to ask for help it makes you stronger. It is an opportunity to recharge your batteries. Caring for children with special needs can also be very taxing on the family unit and they need that moment to recharge. That is why I offer respite care. I was a CNA for 3 years and have been a respite provider/caregiver for nearly 4 years and I am now in my second semester of the Nursing program at VVC. I am a Navy veteran and mom of four. I am originally from TX and moved to CA in 2012. I love people and animals. I enjoy connecting with new people and can pretty much get along with anyone. I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15. I am looking forward to going back to work to care for and love someone who needs assistance.

I've been working with elderly community since the early part of my nursing career back in 1992. I have worked in multiple nursing homes with years of LVN experiences. Patience and compassion are the traits that I can say I developed working as a nurse for older people. Respect for elderly is instilled by my parents in me since I was young.

I'm 44 years old, that has 2 daughters ages 26 & 14 I have a 4 yr old Grandson. I've been a Caregiver at age 12 til present. I still take care of my disabled veteran dad & he's 70yrs old that has had multiple operations from Kidney, gastrointestinal & brain. I took care of my Grandmother til Aug of 2019 she passed from dementia. As of present, I work 4 days a week 8 hrs a day. At different hours, he's a close family friend he's 79 just had hip surgery...So I LOVE taking care & helping others especially Seniors that can't do for themselves.....I'm a honest, reliable, respectful, a Very Clean woman. I am currently a Manager at a Vascular Surgical canter and I also help in recovery as a C.N.A post recovery. I have worked in a nursing home when I first entered the medical field, studied medical terminology, worked as a Lead Supervisor in an orthopedic surgical center for total joints. I am also a mother and I have been blessed with a gift to always help others. I love what I do, it's not a job it's a God given gift to be able to help those in need. Sometimes the companionship makes a huge difference in people lives. My ability to help others and also be able to provide for my family is why I do what I do. I treat every patient as I would want my own parents to be treated. I am also certified and up to date with my BLS (Basic Life Support License) CPR & AED certified.

I enjoy what I do and love to see people happy ! Helping someone that was injured and helping them to recover is a great feeling! Taking care of people that are ill and helping them to feel better is a great feeling!
