hi my name is leslie i have been a caregiver since i was 16 yo i am now 23 the thing that attracted me to being a caregiver would have to be my grandpa he was my best friend and i treat everyone of my residents as if they were my family the thing i enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to make my residents smile and make a difference in there day. i love doing puzzles! my proudest achievement would have to be my daughter she is 6 months and instead of me teaching her things she teaches me things like how to be a better person each and everyday.

I love helping people. I am very compassionate to those I serve. I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I completed my Nurse Assistant Training in 1989. It takes a special person to be a Caregiver. It is essential to be patient and kind, dependable, knowledgeable and SKILLED. It is also necessary to be creative when issues arrive. CPR and First Aid must be required; I have both the skills and certification. I handle emergencies calmly, efficiently, and professionally. Having a sense of humor is also a plus! Growing up in Oregon, I was involved in 4H and FFA and Girl Scouts. I love animals, growing flowers, rock hounding, buying art, attending plays and concerts, and visiting museums.

I was born to be a caregiver. I started volunteering at nursing homes in high school, started as a cna and decided to work privately. I am kind, helpful and I am able to communicate with people that other people have a hard time communicating with.

What attracted me to become a caregiver was being able to work with elderly folks who don't have family besides us as caregivers it's a good feeling when they say Your there family because they don't have there own family and only see us on a daily base. Hi, my name is Angie. I have been in the nursing industry for over 20 years. I began at age 20 as a CNA 2 working in a nursing and memory care setting. I later worked 7 years fulltime in the ICU. I spent a few years working in labor and delivery and that helped me decide I wanted to make a difference and help others try to keep their independence by staying in their own home. I was absolutely not happy in 2012 when my dad was in a SNF and the care was not desired. He passed away at my home comfortably. I am a strong advisor for seniors and I am good with difficult clients and family members. I have a current CPR, BLS, 1 st Aid, food handling card and am hospice certified. I have reliable transportation, insurance and enjoy running errands, companionship, cooking, light housekeeping and overall helping others. I have excellent references and am seeking 1 full time position with a lot of hours or 2 part time. Ideally I would love a live in situation. My location shows Aumsville. I also have an apartment in Sherwood so the PDX, Salem and Albany are fine as long as it's a good fit
