I am a loving caring person. I do everything the best that I can and I gave more myself . I am dependable and reliable . And above all things I am Godly fearing person. I am a great encourager to my patient or my client giving them the best option always stay positive. I enjoyed most of my time is cooking a healthy food and eat lunch together and chatting and visiting and walking and listening a story to tell with my patients or my clients. I'm a very caring and energetic woman of God. I have always loved helping others while also advancing my knowledge in the health field. I followed in my mother's footsteps as she became a CNA, AED, and now an ED. As a caregiver for 9 years, I've come to enjoy helping my clients live their best lives while encouraging as much independent care as possible to eliminate doubts of self worth. I'm proud of all of the knowledge I have gained in the health field. I have learned about many diseases, disorders, and medications through my jobs and schooling. I'm proud of myself for saving a man's life through performing CPR on him for 10 minutes before the ambulance arrived. But most importantly, I've always been told by clients, friends, family, and even strangers, that they can't help but be happy, smile, and laugh around me. That brings me so much joy and pushes me to better myself in life. My career has been so rewarding and I can't wait to continue to help more people in need!

I love helping people. I am very compassionate to those I serve. I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I completed my Nurse Assistant Training in 1989. It takes a special person to be a Caregiver. It is essential to be patient and kind, dependable, knowledgeable and SKILLED. It is also necessary to be creative when issues arrive. CPR and First Aid must be required; I have both the skills and certification. I handle emergencies calmly, efficiently, and professionally. Having a sense of humor is also a plus! I also enjoy learning about my clients ie, where they were born, where they spent their childhood or went to school, their first job, etc. It gives me great joy to be a Caregiver, my true calling! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, fly fishing, camping, and exploring. I love to read and visit my local county libraries often. I love animals, especially dogs and cats. Growing up in Oregon, I was involved in 4H and FFA and Girl Scouts. I love animals, growing flowers, rock hounding, buying art, attending plays and concerts, and visiting museums.

I also have over 15 years of healthcare experience, ranging from dementia and Alzheimer's assistance, development, disabled adults, private, caregiving, and assistant, living and doing daily activities. Hi , my name is Wendy I am 56 years old and a mother of 6 well adjusted wonderful adult children and grandmother of 5 . I have worked as A CNA for 9 years ( currently Expired ) and a caregiver for over 30 years . I am a caregiver at heart , I followed in my mother's footsteps she has been Cargiving for over 50 years still doing it at 74 years old . I remember when at the young age of 12 years old my mother would take me to work with her on the weekends where she was employed in a assisted living facility and I absolutely loved everything about it and Yes I put to work by her I made beds , I fed patients, I would sit and talk with them and pass out snack and fix their hair. I grew up and continued in her footsteps and have loved every minute of it .

I am compassionate,patient, kind, honest and hardworking Mother of 4. I love getting to know new people and take pride in being able to help in any field I'm needed. It's not just about a job but getting to know my clients on a personal level. I believe being a caregiver takes a special kind of person who works not only on a professional level but from the heart. I have been a caregiver off and on since 1993. My wife and I cared for her parents until they passed away in our home.
